Nice to everyone happy about something, well everyone apart from the fella who once forgot he hadn't paid for his season ticket ;)

Unless it’s to sell the club I don’t see the point here. Costs loads to maintain and makes no money, that’s why it’s been a hot potato from day one.
I quite like a hot potato, loads of butter, some baked beans and grated cheddar, jobs a good un.

Special shout out to JoeCov28472672 currently on his 400th Twitter account furiously replying to everyone about how we celebrate this but Leicester won the league. I'm starting to question his legitimacy

I wonder if in time the anecdote could become more of a traditional boozer? Feels too posh for me at the minute and maybe not many people use it if it became a standard pub?

Or maybe it's heaving every match day and I'm way off the mark I dunno
It's not that bad, the location means it's a bit awkward. Watched some games in there though and the food isn't bad.

What income? Ashley never made a penny on it a the two previous owners went bust.

We weren’t going to get kicked out Sisu proved there’s no alternative for either.

For someone who portrays themselves as intelligent (never a good sign that) you are unbelievably stupid.

The club wasn’t worth 1 pence yesterday as it had zero asset value - overnight it’s worth millions. It has income streams and external potential investment it’s never had in its history.

The fact you can’t see that says it all.

A good draw with the car park and traffic issues too
If the hall is sitting empty after games. It won't cost the club to hire them.

All it will cost is staff for the bars (or invite external street foods in) and then cleaning up after etc.

Just give it up....he isn't going to buy the club ffs.

The club is owned by Doug King.

It includes:

Modern day stadium with all year round revenue
Training ground
Talented squad
Top manager

We are now a top target for investors or approaches to buy the club. Not saying Doug will sell but we’ve never been in a better position.

And after games.

At the minute fans just go elsewhere.
Nooooo! Don’t have shit happening after the games too, it already takes 45 mins to get out of carpark A!!
Seriously, this is fantastic news and I wonder if the Wasps twat ( can’t remember his name) ever looks on here and cries himself to sleep.

Surely it more fans are staying behind at the ground it means not everybody is trying to get out at the same time?;

Best news in decades.

All those years of pain, misery, and uncertainty are finally over. It’s made me feel a bit emotional.

This was the last thing holding us back. This is final closure on the worst period in our history

We will be back in the premier league within a few years

Wow I'm genuinely in shock. Still part of me things some sort of practical joke

This is just huge. It doesn't mean we will become a champions league club or anything but it feels like a massive weight holding us down has been taken away

The sky is the actual limit now for us sky blues! Let's go smash QPR

Thank you to

Mark robins and Doug king in particular. Although don't wanna make it about sisu you do wonder if this could ever shave happened without them making councils life hard too.

Everything happens for a reason I guess

PUSB!

I'm actually surprised how emotional I am about this. Never thought we'd see the day we actually have it back in our hands - a proper home. King's played a blinder - only a few weeks back he was putting out smokescreens about needing a our ownnew stadium

King has a job waiting for him at MI6. The guy knows how to keep a secret. Not a hint of this whatsoever until now.
