I'm assuming we can say we are playing at 'x', then if a deal can be done post today, it can be changed... right or wrong?

Today's the day the football club needs to tell the EFL where we are playing next season! Hopefully we will get a statement in regards to the stadium later...
Ground-share now the most likely?
You'd think something would have to be in writing soon, for season ticket prices and all...I'd assume the same to be fair. Not sure if it's correct. Fixtures likely to be released Weds 19th June so as long as everything is confirmed by then (ie, a new deal at Ricoh after groundshare announced), I think it would be fine.

Seems like every stadium that has been mentioned has a better pitch! Still obviously would want us at the ricoh, whatever state the pitch is inAlthough the players and staff would like to stay at the Ricoh if possible they certainly won't miss the state of the pitch
We'd be finished for sureFully expecting a ground share in Milton Keynes to be announced in the near future. The 50 miles mentioned in the EFL survey wasn’t by accident.
We'd be finished for sure
Burton has been an option since last week, probably be likelyCoventry city centre to the latest rumour doing the rounds, burton is just under 40 miles away
I'm sure they're either negotiating terms with different parties which the EFL will be well aware of or have heads of terms agreed on the basis that they would come into force if we don't have a Ricoh deal. Not everybody acts as appallingly as our council so that will be taken by the EFL.I think the EFL would want to see a binding contract somewhere tbh. Otherwise our home for next season still won't be 100% confirmed. I think the club said they expect it to go to the expulsion vote regardless (I could be wrong on that).
I would much rather go to burton with terracing etc then go to mk dons another soulless bowlBurton has been an option since last week, probably be likely
Should be ideal with its 6912 capacity, We might fill that....when we play BurtonBurton has been an option since last week, probably be likely

Be fair Boddy has only had a year to get something sorted

Can't be a binding contract as CCFC will want the option to play at the Ricoh.I think the EFL would want to see a binding contract somewhere tbh. Wont believe ot until its in the Cov Observer.link to the Times article:- Coventry City face being kicked out of Football League
The fixture lists take months to complete. Involvment from local police etc. They need to know where we are playing so we don't clash anywhere.
I think months is a slight exageration. The plays off finish this year on the 27th May so until these are finished, the league bodies cannot compile fully as they don't know 100% which teams are going to be in each division. EPL fixtures released 12th June this year, EFL 19th June although the clubs get them slightly earlier.. Sky Sports/BT Sports will have their first lot of TV fixtures out around early July and between these points, clubs will liaise with police etc. A good example is either Liverpool club being drawn at home this Saturday but due to policing, they'd move because of the Grand National.
Not the case unfortunately. Last year Liverpool played Bournemouth on the day of the National.
Pretty sure I read a BBC interview years ago about it taking months.
EDIT - BBC - Paul Fletcher: Secrets of the fixture computer
Maybe the LFC example wasn't the best but the article is 10 years old!
I'm speaking from experience of working with all 92 clubs, the agencies that some of them use and the TV companies, over the past 4 fixture releases.
Yeah, sure it’s the only thing in his job description to do.
