Is there a site you can set up pledge signatures. A pledge to boycott Wasps and all associated businesses until the football club is back at the Ricoh.

JLR are managing to do that on their own. They will be pulling in the Marketing budget for the coming year.

This is bigger than the team now. Should we just roll over and let them think this is acceptable!? Where does it end.

Should of been the same at Northampton. Total boycott sends a bigger message than 2-3k fans going.

How does boycotting send a message to Wasps that it's unacceptable?

The ccfc statement is deluded surely. Why are SISU so happy to cover millions in losses? Beggars belief

To be fair it’s been said before, and it’s no real comfort in the scheme of things, but you can do a fantastic ale trail round Birmingham.

Of course it's comfort..

For some of us alcohol is the only thing we have left.

I can't believe the division and name calling on here. Predictable I guess but completely destroying any chance of unity amongst City fans. Despite all the rallying calls it's going to be a disaster ! I hope they win a court case eventually but fuck the hedge fund bastards on both sides. CCFC will only ever be the losers, SISU wouldn't invest any compensation in the football club even if they won and that could be years away. This will once again alienate a lot of older folk and families from watching their club regularly. It's plain embarrassing thinking Wasps will go pop anytime soon, they will get help from some knob or restructure their finances. Shame on all involved here !

I agree on all the name calling. It's not a good start is it, just a couple of hours in from the announcement.

I won't be criticising anyone for going, or anyone for not going either.

How is creating divisions going to help anything?

Same as with the Sisu blaming. Sisu do of course have great culpability in all this. I may disagree with people saying Sisu are 100% to blame, but I won't go round insulting them and calling them all c**ts.

I can't see how any of that serves any purpose at all

I think we need to be a more respectful to each other and agree or disagree without all the insults flying about.

I know this will all fall on deaf ears though.

I know people say this is different to Northampton, but I have this horrible feeling we are going to get the same factions and division unfortunately.

This is exactly my point. Suddenly SISU are seen as the victim in this . It really matters not one jot about the football club, even less the supporters. Yes, poor SISU, they deserve better.

So, the question remains, other than inventing a time machine and going back to undo something in the past, what could they have done differently in this situation?

There must be a lot of politics going on in the background that we don't know about it makes no sense from a business point of view for sisu to take us to Birmingham looks like they are being forced out or frozen out

Forces all parties to take action. SISU can’t sustain nobody attending matches, buying merchandise etc.

You think wasps/CCC/EFL want the PR that they were partly responsible for the death of the club!?

Coventry City to play home games next season at Birmingham's St Andrew's stadium | Daily Mail Online

Dont think it was the rent costs that would bankrupt.

If they can. Not as easy as it sounds, Nick.

It's a much longer day for many and more incurred cost.

People have other commitments too, either before or after the games.

Think of the positives instead of the negatives. A decent pitch to play on, not much further to travel for supporters living north, west and south of Coventry outside of Coventry, a decent stadium and facilities, maybe bring in a few new supporters from Birmingham. No longer at the whim of Wasps or CCC. These are positives. Negatives are that for supporters living in Coventry itself, a bit further to travel and it's not our Stadium we can call home. For the record, for Wasps and CCC ask for CCFC to indemnify them if for any illegal actions it may have carried out beggars belief !

The moment I put a tweet out using my daughter saying she will be heartbroken is the moment none of the above would really matter too much so she could carry on doing it.

All these people declaring that they will not attend St Andrews, why? What is it you're hoping to achieve? To force the club back? Well, that isn't going to happen this time. The option to return to the Ricoh was always there when we played at Northampton, so I understood the boycott and its aims. This seems (and I suspect is) quite different.

There is now a straight choice - back your club, for a season at least, to keep it going in the hope something may change, or turn your back on it. If you choose the latter, fine, and I hope everyone can be civil.

The football club is not SISU. The football club is me and you. It is Mark Robins, the players, the kit man and all the back room staff. It is Sky Blues in the Community, it is the badge, it is 136 years of history and the memories of all those who are no longer with us. Divorce the two, because SISU are not, and never will be, the club.

So back it. Logistically it may be difficult, but I suspect tickets will be cheaper and travel provided. Many of us who do go will probably attend less frequently than usual, fine. But to declare that you will no longer support the club? I hope you reconsider.

I can't see my getting a ST. Will try and go to the odd game here and there though if I can.

The Checkatrade games will now surely be played in front of just a few ball boys and half a dozen fans.

The EC will only investigate if there is something that needs looking it to. It's not like a court case where the other side have to defend themselves.

So if, and its still an if, that proceeds they think there's something worth investigating. As a local taxpayer surely thats a good thing or do you think the councils use of public funds should never be challenged?

I just don't get why people want to make big statements, is it for likes?

"I won't ever do such and such"

"I won't give the club a penny" and then we get to Wembley.

Its Birmingham not Barcelona we're ground sharing with. For a lot of people the time difference will be negligible.

If, as you suggest, people don't go as they prioritise other commitments fair enough but thats their decision. They aren't being stopped from going.

One thing I would say is I hope the club, and if not the club maybe the trust, ensure there is transport for those, particularly kids and the old boys, that can't drive there or walk from New St.
