I havent seen enough of him , yes hes nippy , lookslike hes got some quick feet , but hasnt really impacted any games he has played in , he is definitely too young and inexperienced for the premier league , and if they think he is going to be worth some serious money , then play him , let him learn his trade , get experience , and learn how to deal with the physicality of proffesional football . After all if hes that good , his value will not drop

That isn't the case: he helped to change the game against Fleetwood when he came on.

Regardless of SISU, any player would want to move to a bigger club if given the chance. Frankly SISU can't be held accountable for our best players leaving, every player has a price and every club (barring Real Madrid) is in reality a 'selling club'. This is the nature of the game.

Be nice to hold onto someone long enough for the club to move up with them.

Having only been to one game in the last couple of seasons(my bad), never seen him play.

Is he really good? How many games has he played for us so far?

Remember how many people got the right hump over Thomas going to Liverpool for a million?

He's got a lovely first touch. There was one ball against Fleetwood that was higher than the stands and he trapped it with one touch beautifully, best display of technique in the whole match. He's got good movement and a definite spark of creativity about him. But he still needs work on awareness-as you'd expect at his age-and he really needs to learn when to dive! As it stands, he looks to throw himself to the deck as a first resort. Hopefully he'll have learnt from that red card.

He's a gamble for any big club at this stage, but there have been plenty of other unproven teenagers that they've taken a punt on for their academy in the past. I definitely think that it would benefit both the player and any potential suitors for him to be loaned out for a year or 2 in L1 to learn the game better, but doubt that we have the nous to make sure that it's us!

Why aren't we putting release clauses in these lads contracts when they turn pro something crazy like £10 million then we have more chance of keeping them and if we want to sell the balls in our court

Because the first team is nothing but a shop window to our owners.

True, but if they want it to be a shop window put some decent price tags on with decent mark ups on. No doubt they'll go for a quick buck and take a million plus a sell on clause

That's the real problem. The clubs become a pound shop. That's not fair, a B&M's.

Well, The Regent was the first ever public hotel that she stayed in. She took the waters, liked 'em, and said "this shit is wicked, lets make this place Royal!"

People complained that Bigi was shit... we sold him for a million and he's barely had a look in since.

Thomas went to Liverpool on loan and they sent him back as he wasn't good enough.

Maddison might have potential but that's all it is right now. Of all the young players we have sold over the last 10 years, Wilson is the only one to make any kind of impact.

If someone like Spurs is stupid enough to pay money for him (and lets be honest Spurs have form for this - see John Bostock amongst many others) then would the club be so wrong in thinking about it?

You're right Spurs have got form they bought Bale for 7 million I think then were going to sell him for 1 million changed thei mind and then what happened?

There's even one in Lincoln, only been in the once, but no word of a lie there was actually a guy shopping in there wearing a cravat.

Sometimes there are stereotypes for a reason.

Maddison always struck me as a Sainsbury's man.

Short, quick, not always the full-shelf stocked but you can see what's there, there's so much potential for a better deal.

Bilton. Where the old social club(?) used to be, opposite the Green, to the side of that new estate.

If Spurs or someone like that actually come in for him how likely is it that we'd actually be able to convince him to stay? Likely to be his decision to leave in circumstances like this opposed to the club's

He'll never ever get a game with Spurs; they will loan him out to a Championship club.

Which is fine as long as the money generated is used to better the team as a whole !

Which is impossible! If you sell a player for a million, in order to better the team you then have to buy a player for more than a million, since better players tend to cost more than poorer players. So how does that make sense? Don't forget also we invested a lot of money developing the Academy Graduates, they did not come free.

Based on that statement we are destined to stay in league 1 indefinitely?

Sometimes in football it helps if you can keep young players for more than one season, you never know they might become part of a winning mentality and help you gain promotion.

Sad to say promotion isn't in sisu's remit

Who has put this Maddison rumour to Spurs about ? If Tottenham really want him they would be no speculation they will move in offer a bit of dosh and ride back to London. I am suspicious that by putting this little rumour about it puts Maddison in the shop window for someone else to make a move, sort of thing sisu will do to make a quick buck. Wouldn't be the sort of thing the honourable Mr Waggott would do, would it ?

Was he known to be injured? Or was Pressleys quick comment of 'Maddison is out injured' during this mornings conference a good way of getting that out there whilst hes wrapped up in cotton wool for the first bid to fill SISU pockets...

Yeah, I remember Spurs signing Westwood, it was a done deal, conveniently missed a game to sign the deal....
