Why would he go.on the run if innocent of all charges?

I would assume he knew of what followed and his absconding.

There are rules and legal aid currently is stopping justice and people’s access to justice is being severely restricted

His defence barrister in the extradition hearing in Georgia was saying that he shouldn't be extradited to UK because what he was found guilty of isn't an offence in Georgia!
