Agree. I'm sure if someone told him to "drop" the move to northampton then he would...

What was the biggest disgrace?

CVA turned down trying to keep our club in Coventry and trying to show that the way the CVA was done totally wrong or saying that there was no choice but to take us to Northampton as we had nowhere else to play and would have gone under if the FL wouldn't have allowed it?

Pressley gets a well deserved award and you get fans on here arguing about the move to Northampton !
He's the best we've had for years so let's focus on that for once.

Of course, I'm not legitimising the move, no one could. However, you seem to want to "forget" certain things and not others. And as for "tunnel vision", what do you think you have regards to the decisions made by ACL?

I want to forget the past. We are still in Northampton.

My thoughts on ACL Rejecting the CVA - confusing to say the least. Maybe they were hoping the FL would still help sort something. I don't know. I have never defended them for rejecting the CVA.

Here we are on another thread that starts as something positive, and all because I said lets forget the -10 and concentrate that we are only 3 points off the play-offs it turns in to ACL vs. SISU again. Partly my fault yes because I have carried it on but it is shameful.

Is there now a sliding "disgrace scale" then? The whole thing is a disgrace.

How was turning down the CVA and getting us docked ten points going to help us stay in Coventry?

But things in the the past have affected where we are playing in the present and the future. Everything is linked. You can't conveniently forget certain things because they don't sit comfortably.

Sorry Nick.

Congrats SP! Definitely deserved!

Please can we drop the 10 points thing now?? We are 3 points off the play-offs now we can do it! We don't need the constant reminder we just need to congratulate the team on doing so well!

Sorry but that Sisu lot of wankers cost us 10 points !!!!

May as well just lock this thread. It has escalated in to pointless "pro-acl" finger pointing.

Very well deserved for SP and I hope he is as please as we are - but I worry the curse may now be upon us.

Well done Steven Pressley, and just as importantly those that represent him and us the fans on the pitch. What with all the shite going on off the pitch, and that the first team are so young they shop at Mothercare, it truly is a magnificent achievement.

I pray the manager of the month curse has a month off .

Well done SP, won the Manager of the month and won the next game, the curse is finally lifted. Just loved his celebrations last night, shows how much passion he has for the game and more importantly the performance of "his" team :claping hands::claping hands:

He has as much passion for the job as any manager since Dowie, but is doing a much better job on the pitch as well-which is the perfect combination. It is still just November but if he keeps it up (and this will be tested after the transfer window), I'll happily eat my words from pre-season.
