Police forces will now release the ethnicity and nationality of suspects charged in high profile cases under new guidance to prevent misinformation. But only if a white English person is the suspect.
The police have them in custody. They’ll release information when necessary. People like you actually don’t care about the victims, you’re probably delighted so you can add it to your racist agenda

There's nothing racist about it, it could of been any of us on that train. It's almost a daily occurance now. It's tiring and people like you spout up. What have I said is racist you clown

I genuinely don’t know what the solution is. you can’t really outlaw knives like you can guns
But they have haven’t they? Its illegal to carry a knife in public.
Stop and search would definitely help reduce the kids doing it but wont stop someone hellbent on killing innocent people.
Armed police everywhere is one answer but do we really need to go down that route?

I think the biggest issue i have is with how often terrible things are happening , my daughter goes to college by train alone every day and i want my kids to feel safe in this country , i want people to feel safe .

Careful, the usual suspects will call you racist.

it’s much easier to get your hands on a knife though than a gun

By all accounts, the driver and the emergency services did a phenomenal job. Must have been horrible in those few minutes but stopping at Huntingdon was a good call.

Knives arent the problem. Its the people that are. We've all got knives at our disposal in our kitchens. Do we decide to go on rampages over whos imaginary friend is best? Or decide we will take one out to do in someone we dont like?

They're inanimate objects. They haven't changed, the people have

I know what you are insinuating and this isn't something new.

People have been stabbing people for decades.

Let's not forget, hooligans used to go round using weapons.

Not to downplay this incident or any. We hear about them more and they are horrific.

Its the same argument that the US use to support their right to bear arms "Guns dont kill people, people do" and we think its batshit.

Guns are different though. You aren't finding one's in a kitchen.

If the bloke had a gun last night, it would have been utterly devastating.
Well this is what I'm saying. How do you fix it? Scanners before getting on a train?

What I'm saying though is this idea that we were a lovely civilised society before this argument around immigration really flared up though is nonsense.

It wasn't perfect but it was far nicer.
