Longest Journey last year was after the Sunderland play off defeat, back to Cov at 2:30am, it was like a trip through the circles of Hell.

The Ninth circle being stood outside the Red Lion at 2:30am, freezing, waiting for an Uber wondering what the Hell had just happened.

Fast Forward 8 months and look where we are, as Fergie said "Football, Bloody Hell!"
Didn't help that they made us wait on the coaches for ages whilst those insufferable pricks celebrated and got away from the ground when they could have simply started moving us earlier. I think we were still in 5underl4nd at 11pm!

Edit: actually it was later than that I think as pretty sure we got back to Southam around 4am and then had to get an Uber back to Warwick and it was 5am by the time we were home.

And then off to work!

Between Southampton (3 of us), Ipswich (3 of us) and Preston (2 of us), I've had to fork out £460 and will still have Blues and Charlton to pay for before Christmas. That's before any food or beer.

Christmas is going to have to be cancelled this year I think!

Yeah, it's pricey. Got Southampton and Charlton tickets, although ticket office rang me yesterday as I'd bought wrong category, U21 ambulant disabled rather than U21. Not the only one apparently.

Brum tickets will be on sale before Christmas too...

Our record at Southampton is dreadful and with the form they have currently hit its going to be a tough assignment next week.

I've seen City play at Southampton 20 times and only seen 4 wins, and 2 of those were in the PL relegation season.

Should have beaten them in the FAC in 21/22, we were excellent that day.

Yeah, my son reminds me of the end of the game when I was leaping around as I thought we'd scored, only for the lineman's flag being raised. I didn't see that flag, he did. We went last time too when Haji missed the penalty and their goal was basically batted into the net.

Went to that cup game and also the surreal 4-0 loss in 2012 when I watched them have a pitch invasion promotion party in contrast to what was in store for us in L1.
