I was very surprised he didn’t give it as he’d generally been giving very soft fouls up to then. Again, the decisions you give earlier in the game should set the standard for the ones later.A couple of replay angles make it look like pen due to defender falling on wrights leg. Given the circumstances going into the game, then the silly challenge from JDS, the fight shown by the boys today was brilliant.
You could see what JDS was trying to do, tried to nip in and intercept which he does quite well, got it wrong unfortunately.
On a positive note, thought Lati came in and did well, a little rusty at first but soon got into the game. Wolf too had a good game.
A rare outing for Brau, you can't really judge given the circumstances of the game but from what i saw his footwork is good, very fast feet and seems a tricky type player. Interested to see what he'd be like going forward. I thought he managed Fellows quite well.
EMC was having a great first half, Eccles too. I think we'd have gone on to beat them, but we'll never know.
