Exactly this.

Getting upset at people who are pissed off that he got sent off and caused us a lot of issues is just silly. We'll all move on from it obviously, and he has done really well for us generally.

Like I said earlier, the backs to the wall job in the second half will be really good for team spirit. I loved seeing them all so fired up at the end.
People can say what they want on a forum about a player doing something absolutely fucking brain dead. Not like anyone is @ing the idiot. Weird thing to get annoyed about.
The other boys did us proud.

Not sure what triggered Lampard’s reaction at the end, any idea? Disagreed with some of the praise on here - winding up the Saints players and running off and relying on his coaching staff and players to step in makes Frank look like a bottle job.

Lati had an excellent game considering the little amount of game time he’s had.

Did I hear a new song from the away end - this song is about you? Our fans sounded brilliant away from home again, let’s hope the home atmosphere on Boxing Day carries it on!
Looks like he made a comment to Harwood-Bellis who should have been sent off first half

That's a bloody good result considering the circumstances and what played out. There are a few suffering the effects of the flu bug becuase Rudoni couldn't run late on, Torp nowhere near fit looking, Milan puffing his lungs out. Da Silva made a jusgement error tackle, not meant by any means but that high up the pitch why? The red was correct. The pen appeal is debateable but for me it's a penalty if you lean in on the striker who has got goal side of you and prevent him from shooting by tumbling down on him.
Southampton nowhere near as good as we thought. We dominated first half, would have won, and second half with 10 men and flu bug, players in who have not even had a game all season, it was a darn good point. This will lift the spirit and belief of the squad no end. As for lampard getting all passionate at the end, love that!

He said himself in the interview that he was getting abuse from the Saints fans

Agreed, I'dhave been more impressed if he had swung a right hook at the player and not been on the touchline for the next 3

lol I wasn’t expecting Frank to throw a jab but I wasn’t expecting him to go winding things up, point the finger and run away like he’s scared of getting hurt. Stand up to it.

Sky insinuated words had been exchanged behind Lampard with the crowd, so why go to the North stand to give it the big one?

Lampard is obviously fed up of the idiot refs and he mentioned previous occasions so it’s been building up. He will probably get told off and a fine but we will still get another idiot against Swansea

I mean before he had even turned around Edwards had flat lined the player
