I’m from an era when FA Cup Third Round day (not weekend!) was a highlight of the season – regardless of the opposition, which is why I despise SISU all the more as I now feel that the right thing to do is miss the game.
However, I heard on the news today that Coventry Blaze are in a dire financial state following the failure of one of their sponsors to come up with the money.
Coventry Blaze have been a credit to this city for the best part of a decade and having given us a huge amount of success and positive publicity, perhaps its time we helped them out in their hour of need. They have a home game on the Friday night before the Southampton match – so as an alternative buy a ticket for that game instead and show your support for a great club.
