Songs for ads (1 Viewer)

Seems anything goes these days and there is even a slice of King Crimson in one current ad on the go. We obviously have Bold instead of Gold, for the Spandau Ballet song, but I wonder what other songs or lyrics would fit certain ads, with or without a bit of adjustment.

Iggy Pop's Lust for Life for the lottery's Set for Life?

The Only Way is Up for a Tampax ad.

Lyric from Smells Like Teen Spirit for the famous toy shop, "Here we are now, the Entertainer".

And Depeche Mode for a manicure set "Your own personal tweezers".

Devo's Be Stiff for the Numan Clinic.

Territorial Pissings for the territorial army.

U2's I Still haven't Found What I Am Looking For, for Elite Singles.

The Pistols Holiday's in the Sun for Hays Travel

"I am the passenger and I ride and I ride, for a West Midlands daysaver.

Amen Corner's smash hit "If Muller rice is half as nice"

The Kinks for London Pride "Thank you for the gays"

Shamelessly going to plug this.
Had never heard this track prior to a sample of it being used by Oral b.
Don't know if I really like the song in its entirety but the 20-30 seconds used in the promotion I find sublime .

I'm pretty sure things like 'Electric Dreams", "Are Friend's Electric" and "Electric Avenue" have been used by power companies.
And "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of These)" for a mattress.
And of course Flash by Queen

The Only Way Is Up is surely a Viagra ad (although kudos to the person that used Cockney Rebel's Make Me Smile (Come Up and See Me) for it)

Smells Like Teen Spirit sounds like it should be used for an air freshener (yes, I do know Teen Spirit is/was a deodorant).

Which ad is that one, Otis? I've missed that one! Big fan of King Crimson!

Removal men (or logistical solutions as they like to call themselves) ‘we like to move it!’ by those Madagascar critters.
