Some of the best attacking football weve played for years (13 Viewers)

Positive - Still unbeaten, but the chances created we’ve dropped two points today.

Some of the football we play is a joy to watch, We play around round the park really well and control the majority of games but ultimately that means nothing if we don’t start winning games

(Appreciate we got a point but if we want to push for autos these draws need to be wins).

I fear going forward a lot of teams are going to set
up similar to Norwich today and frustrate us and try nick a goal and win. Tbf teams have been doing this to us for a while, it’s a compliment and shows how far we’ve come when teams like Norwich are having to resort to this.

Shore up the defence and start being more clinical in front of goal and I think we have a real chance this year.

We're only 5 games in. The goals will come!

We are a force that’s for sure-that’s if we stay relatively injury free. Not so confident if we have injuries to key players-then you have the likes of Allen and Eccles et al.

How can people say we are toothless upfront?
We are quite literally the top scorers in the championship 🤷‍♂️

The last home game, we scored 7, and everything we hit went in.
Today we dominated just as much but didn't have the same luck in front of goal, partly because Norwich pulled players back behind the ball at every opportunity and offered very little up front, and partly because their keeper made a couple of top draw saves.
On another day we score 4.

And in Haji Wright we have the most prolific striker in the championship.

We scored 12 of our goals in 2 games.
QPR in particular was as much of an anomaly as today.
We need to find a way to finish games like Oxford and today.
We're doing well but some of the superlatives are over the top until we turn dominant performances into point consistently.

Sorry, but unless our strikers and AM start taking their chances, i fear your optimism is premature. Lovely football with no end-product does not win games!
Some stats:
We're top scorers in the league by 3 goals. We have the most shots in the league by 3 goals too.
We have second highest possession in the league behind Southampton.
We have the highest xG in the league, and we are outperforming it by nearly 2 goals. We're third highest in the league in xG differential.

Attack and end product really is not a problem (today aside).

This is my only concern really. I don't mind Eccles so much, but Allen isn't at the level anymore. And if we lost Torp, the creativity in midfield takes a big hit.

Not sure what that means! But our stats are massively skewed by 2 high scoring games.
I was being a bit facetious.

We scored a lot in 2 games because we are a good team though, and pose an attacking threat. That was clear from today, we were just a little unlucky/wasteful (delete as appropriate).

Let's put it this way. If we'd scored 4 goals today would anyone argue that it wasn't deserved?

But we were also wasteful against Oxford.
It needs addressing, it's no good everything you hit going in in two games then missing a host of chances in another two.
It's early days and I'm sure we'll be fine but if you're assessing the season so far then it's a valid observation of something thats been an issue up to now

Changing the subject a little can't remember when it was but Torp in the centre of the park waltzed in and took the ball off one of and showed him his backside before racing away.
It was beautiful to see such timing!

I remember that and thought to myself imagine if we had a physical midfielder like yaya toure and the dimensions it could open up for us
