I know he hasn't looked the part but he really stepped up towards the end of the season especially that match !!! #PUSB !!!

I don't know why people think we won't get people in. Look at last season. Leon Clarke joins us and we sell him after six months for 750,000. We brought in quite a few good players and if wasn't for the 10 point deduction would have done better.
If you were a player wanting to play football why not come to Cov? Get £3000 a month or more, that's £36,000 a year for a 20ish 30ish guy is not bad, AND if you do well you can move on if our club doesn't change their situation.
I think some people. including people on here, actually want us to fail as a club, why? We are NOT SISU. They own the paperwork for the club but they don't own the heart.
I hate all the parties involved in the politics of our current plight BUT I will never turn again the guys on the field of play.
I hope SP brings us in some quality and we push for promotion. There is a damn sight more chance of us being able to find a new buyer if we ar a successful club winning promotion then a club going down.

Clarke joined before we moved to Northampton. It wasn't long after we moved that he wanted out.

Brought in quite a few good players? Who were they?

£750 a week for a football player? That will get you someone that nobody else wants. Not even the division 4 clubs.

We want our club to fail? The biggest chance of our club failing is if we stay in Northampton.

Turn on the guys on the field of play? Who is going on about doing that? It was mentioned how poor nearly every signing was last season. The only decent signing IMHO was a player that was coming back from a drugs ban. He would have been better with a pre season behind him. But it shows the quality of player a poor wage will get you. And now you seem to be saying we should pretend that all players at our club are good enough. They are not. Last season we were good up front but very poor in defence. And next season this could easily be even worse in both positions.

We all hope that he brings in quality. He will have to bring in quality just to keep up with what we had last season after losing most of our best players. We all want this to happen. But after seeing the latest players that did come in it looks like we would do best looking for players coming back after a drugs ban or prison sentence. You can get these cheaper and they can be good. Just shows what we have been reduced to.
