Despite me having a handbag slapfight with tony on page 1, I agree with him absolutely about last season. Pressley did an admirable job despite the late season falter and to claim that was just the players whereas this season is all him is moving the goalposts a little too much to suit an agenda.
List of potential managers (off the top of my head):
Paul Tisdale - not bad
Dean Smith - like him a lot
Keith Hill - not for me
John Still - good shout doing a cracking job at Luton
Owen Coyly - please god no
Dave Jones - no chance, not enough dollar at the club for him to succeed
Stuart McCall - swapping like for like
Gary Megson - no chance, would do a good job but no chance
Uwe Rosler
I love you AJ
Richard Money for me, he was in the running the first time round can't believe we chose Pressley ahead of him really. As for people saying there is no one out there have a word with yourself there is always someone looking to prove themselves in the world of football.
Our sexual tension could light a Christmas tree!

Plenty of people are calling for SP to go as it will turn our season around apparently but no one is saying who can/would/should replace him and how they're going to save our season.
I'm all ears. Convince me.
I like sp but he needs to learn what attack and entertainment are or he will go because we are too bigger club to play In front of 8k every week I'm a st holder and I won't take another season of this utter dross.
It cannot though be ignored that he did have the two most prolific strikers in the league. His defensive strategy was poor and would have relegated most teams even without the 10 point penalty.
Sorry but we are not a big club.We don't even have a Stadium to call our own.Big clubs go out and spend money on players who will improve the
teams performance and that does not suit our owners ideals. We had 34 years of relevant mediocrity in the premiership and other than the 87 cup win
the rest has been about survival.
What an unpleasant thread. You should be supporting him instead of speculating what 10th rate league 2 fuckwit could replace him.
Wishing your lives away some of you twats on here.

If there was a new owner with money to spend what's the first thing they would do?

Can you actually respond without abuse?
And the way you refer to every manager in league 2 just about sums you from what I can see

Supporting our excellent current manager and calling out those who would sack managers every month is not abusive. Thanks anyway.

True, but I'd argue that he allowed them to be prolific rather than it being something that would just have happened regardless.
The same kind of thing was said about Mark Robins and while he'll always be on my shitlist, I similarly don't buy the argument that he only did well because McGoldrick was here and he was lucky to be swept up in the unstoppable goal machine who Forest fans mocked us for loaning.

Invest in the playing squad so that our manager had decent tools to work with.

In comparison with the rest of the division, Pressley has excellent tools to work with. It's not clubs fault that Pressley has went and bought screws and nails but forgot to buy the drill and hammer.
How much did Pressley actually spend on transfer fees?
You really are a dimwit.
Probably the same as 6th placed Oldham, 7th places Notts County, 4th placed MK Dons and 3rd placed Preston North EndHow much did Pressley actually spend on transfer fees?

You didn't answer the question. BSB you will find the wage budget to be considerably lower this year than last, hence the exodus of our better players.
So everthing goes right and it aint down to SP but when it goes wrong it is? Genius.
How many games has Gary Rowett been in charge for? Shouldn't you wait and see how the rest of his season pans out before judging him. He could yet prove to be another AT.
Proud of yourself are you? Pointless tittle tattle.

How do you think our wage budget stacks up against our fellow competitors?
Must be in the top 6-10 in the league.
