The start of the season massively scews the figures, if you get a good win on opening day you're top. If you're top now the weighting is the same.

Also if you're bottom or near it, your average is boosted because you can't play the team in last place.

Same for the teams at the top, they will play teams below them more often than not.

Reality is, everyone has played everyone else once.

Nothing like a table of stats to manipulate to suit the club. Would read anything into this as everyone has played each other. Strange how Lincoln have apparently had the 2nd hardest fixtures they should get in to politics

I agree. All down to stats that can be made to look different to the truth.

But the same stats have us as having it easy in our home games and hard in our away games. And we have done well at home and poor away.......

What a load of old bollocks. Whilst I like the more tactical and indepth modern football media some of these forced statistical pieces are a joke.

You could argue that all of our games have been away.
Where it falls down, for example, is Wycombe are bottom of the home table suggesting they may be in a false position due to their "easy" home fixtures, but they are still scoring 1 as the toughest opponents to play.
