Can you point to one thing SISU have built?
Good points, but, not relevant to my point because it would be a home you intend to keep for the your life, not what you'd develop before selling.
Also, may I add, I don't think the stadium, if actually built, wold be 15k, It would have to be 20k at a minimum it can't and won't be under HR's attendance and if SISU had any intention of moving up the FL ladder, 15k would be too small.

The likelyhood is remote, but its interesting as a planning concept.
Would the city benefit from the crowds in the centre?
Its handy for the station!
The sensible idea from a planning point if view is to place it on the outskirts of the city.

If you mean a squad? We built a squad that was decent (Gunnar, Fox, Dann, Eastwood, Clingan, Turner, Best, Hendo team) under Coleman and this team at the minute is a top 10 L1 team easily, which has been built by SISU - last season I don't think no one can criticise SISU, no matter how 'anti-SISU' you are, for last season's transfer policies and dealings.

If the football club could um August walk into a 15,000 stadium fully owned less than 4 miles from the city centre would that be better than staying at the Ricoh?
To me its 100% yes.

Just outside the Ring Road is tthe Techno Centre with alot of land still around there, but stadiums just aren't and will not be built in these areas anymore. HR was built in a different era.

You think the council will sell for a fair price to CCFC? Bearing in mind Cllor Maton said he doesn't want CCFC to own the RICOH, just one man's comments, but, it could be reflective of the mood of the council.

No. A 15k stadium in close proximity to the Ricoh will not generate enough income to be useful.

I think it would be the Ricoh that wouldn't generate the income. If there were another stadium close by that belonged to CCFC then many, many people would never had the need to go to the Ricoh. I wouldn't.

Even IF they went ahead and built a 15k somewhere (certainly not by aug) by the time the fans have dwindled away due to playing at (eg) walsall and a depleted fair play rules squad, plus coming out of admin docked points, means most probably relegarion to L2 ....... it would take YEARS for them to recoup what they reckon they have put in. Sisu apparently say they are in for the long haul, but thats not the way they usually work.
They need to see sense, take a bitv of a hit by selling, and move on.
Why? There is nothing to suggest that concerts will stop.
Your views but the council would be behind the Ricoh and would Make sure it did not fail. They would be bigger and better than any 15 k stadium, casino, hotel, exhibitions, conferences, concerts and I am sure some other sporting events. My thoughts are that firstly they would make sure it was no in Coventry by blocking pans and if built in Warwickshire make sure they undercut any events they try and put on or tie people up into contacts over ext few years.
The Ricoh will not fail without us, just go up there any mid week, they have things on all the time.
Not just concerts though.
Remember, the Council will back it to the hilt, they will ate sure it thrives.
