how can everyone say 4-2-3-1 when that formation won't accompany all the forwards?

I dont understand why everyone seems reluctant to pair the frenchies together, Wood hasnt played all pre-season as far as I am aware and it seems as though Thorn is trying to move him along.

----------Murphy----------

-Clarke--Malaga--Wood--Hussey-

--Baker--Thomas--Fleck--Sheff--

------Ball---Cody------

I think Thomas will be a very good player in this league. I'd like to think Wood will be here hence me including him, however if it was 'who will Thorn pick' I'd have to swap Wood with The Edge. He does look OK, but a bit clumsy. Lucky not to concede a pen again yesterday and there was one particular challenge yesterday which would have been a yellow in a competitive game.

I think you're the only one to choose Deegan! I think there's a good reason for why he's not a first XI choice: can't pass!

Most people agree with back five as:

Murphy
Clarke - Malaga - Wood - Hussey

Thomas, Kilbane, McSheffrey are agreed by all too.

So the remaining 3 IMO should be:

Bell, Ball & McDonald (hard hat on for Bell haters...)

So what would yours be? Or is there no XI options to give you this much needed confidence?

Can nt believe people have picked Baker.
He s been awful since he was signed, he runs into blind alleys, can nt shoot straight, can nt cross, do nt think i ve seen him head the ball, oh and he can nt tackle lol

Ripped this league apart a few seasons ago. Also so what if he can't tackle, dont really need to as a winger. Bakers got ability, needs confidence. I don't think he really believed in himself in the Champ, hopefully the drop down in quality will make him believe in himself.

He knows the league, although the Wing where I've put him probably isn't his best position (I'm yet to see what is), however who else do we have? Apart from Bell, but I'd still opt for Baker over him

Bell every time he can cross a ball he tries to get into tackles, he tries, rarely makes the tackle but at least he tries. Bell also tracks back.
As you say Baker and a good position, I agree with you never seen him in one.
I live in hope pusb
