So what will it be next week? (6 Viewers)

Robins after match interview gave a big insight to his thinking. Though there will be time to reflect more during the week and we should not panic and make wholesale changes I do believe he will make a couple of changes to freshen things up and give a reminder to a few that there are no positions comfortable for anyone.

I'm sure he will get their minds re-focussed and work on a few things such as throw ins and corners where we have failed to get anything from 24.

So when the dust settles who's for the chop? What changes are likely given that we don't need to upset everything and send the wrong message but we need some impetus from somewhere?

For me Leon Clarke will be dropped to the bench with Elliott and maybe Ball coming in.
Is he brave enough to bring in Bell? Rest Baker? At the back Wood and the Edge look under threat to me and certainly we need Cameron in there with no fuss defending and I think he is a bit quicker too. Thomas may fill a role. Not saying all these changes but there are some very good options to freshen things up.

Thoughts....

Thought Bailey was poor yesterday, but then there was a time when Jennings won the ball back but then expected a
Sheff to take it forward instead of being brave and going forward himself. Moussa has struggled in the last couple of games. Baker is carrying a knock IMO so could potentially be rested.

Clarke for christie
Thomas for Jennings
Cameron for edge
Elliott for Clarke

Christie had a good game yesterday so why everyone wants him out is beyond me. I think some supporters just randomly pick a player to hate no matter what.

What was so good about him yesterday? He was ok nothing special and I don't hate him at all.

Not that much needs to change. Robins doesn't like swapping things around for the sake of it. A lot will depend on the fitness of Adams but if fit I guess he will make it 4-4-2 and sacrifice a midfielder but he has to do this to accommodate the fact that his new striker cannot play his preferred formation. The holding midfielder in Jennings will have a big part to play next week and we need to be patient and keep it tight. A scrappy 1-0 will be ample to get back on track.............but Bury seemed to have upped their game of late so it won't be easy !

Do you see Edge worse than Woody? For me its the other way!.. but hey its all about opinions?
Jordan Clarke or Cyrus... for me its a question of rotation- horses for course with those two.. they have different attributes. I think at Bury I'd agree Clarke for Cyrus.

Wood is better than Edj hands down, Wood has his limitations, pace etc. but Edj gets turned inside out every game (slight exaggerated), gets bullied in the air and offers nothing aerially going forward. Wood holds his own and is a solid defender - with limitations.

In what way is Edj better than Wood!?

I'd start Elliott, whether that means Elliott plays as a lone striker or as part of a two I'm not sure

Cameron an Clarke in for Edge and Christie, hope Adams is fit also

I'm hoping we get in 1/2 loans to give us a boost before the Bury game

Loans did not seem to be an option in MR interview.
Unless we can get a very talented midfield playmaker or a very good striker then I tend to agree we have enough options....including a recall on Cody.

As I said.. all about opinions you got yours- me mine... not a Wood fan. Never have been, albeit I think he has improved as of late.

Wood has been truly average this season, just think the fact that he and Cameron are both English (I.e no language barrier) and have played together before might help.

Agree there's not a lot to choose from between Clarke and Christie - just feel he has had a hand in all 4 goals we've conceded this week and needs to be taken out the firing line.

You think Wood doesn't get turned inside out every game?

Happens more with Wood than it does with Edge believe me.

I never said he doesn't, I said he has limitations, because he does, v pace, we're fucked, but he is a solid defender, yesterday he put got good tackles in and doesn't get bullied aerially like Edj does, and he scores a few goals a season.

Edj isn't a better defender than Wood. Period.

If we had the funds, I'd welcome 2 CBs but realistically, we could only afford 1, and I'd replace Edj.

Well I'd replace Wood.

You can stick all the 'periods' you want. It's just your opinion.

My opinion is that I prefer Edge to Wood. Edge is more mobile and has better agility, doesn't get turned as much and has a little bit more pace.

In an ideal world we would replace both, but just because you think Wood is better than Edge it doesn't make you right unfortunately.

You seem not to value and respect other peoples opinions.... as I said and is well cited football is about opinions... why do you have to end sentences with words like "period" as if it is only your opinion that counts? I'm a fan your a fan, all of us on here are fans.. none have a divine right to impose their view upon others.... I Think Edge is better than Wood....chill out mate.

Yep. The period is like it gives some sort of validation to the comment, but it obviously doesn't. It's just an opinion.

Think it will be like LO match 5/6 changes.
Thomas for jenno
Elliot for Clarke
Clarke for christie
Cameron for wood
Fleck for sheffers

There are likely to be few changes. I suspect one defender may change. Cameron may come in. Personally I would take Edjuingele out of the firing line. I think Cameron and Wood will communicate better. I assume Adams will be fit. I cannot see much else changing.

I expect Clark to score a couple and Sky Blue Swiss, Covboy, Harvey whatever he is to point out Bury are really a Division Two club so the goals do not count.

woods distribution is absolutely awful can't find a city player further than 3 yards away, whereas edge can at least retain possession.

is this where I should say period or is it just the time of the month?

I'd say:

Elliot in for Clarke.
Cameron in for Wood (Edge for me is strong when heading out of defense).
Thomas for Jennings (This is more to do with giving Jennings a rest rather than that I think he's crap, which I don't).
Baker for Bell/Philliskirk? (I'm only saying Philliskirk as Bell could be injured and Philliskirk has been reported as fast and strong, this would give Baker the rest he needs).

That's all the changes I think we need to be fair...
