Rumour has it that "independent" "investigative" (joke) "journalist" Les Reid has had the push. Is it true?

Who will bring the news of the legofields stadium to the public on Friday? Or will the fag packet plans go back into Fisher and Labovitch's pocket?

Would be his fault if true though. Certainly wasn't working as an independent journalist. He had an adjenda. And his twitter rants showed this.

You absolute thoughtless idiots.Les Reid was one of the few people to bring a sense of clarity and perspective to this situation. His level of insight and contacts as well as the ability to be at or around the major decision points gave us more information than ANY other source.
The halfwits that spent their life abusing him on twitter and couldnt even understand his level of independence have probably made him less than supportive of our "fans". The Trust also were interested in him when he agreed with them and so lost potentially a fantastic resource and also a level of influence on their messages.

The spectrum of approval here tends revolves around a person's current status relative to Sisu. Mark Robins left us in the lurch about two minutes after professing his attachment to the club but gets off lightly as he probably did it in revolt to the owners and not the fat sack of cash he was offered. Ray Ranson was public enemy number one but then he told us that he could have signed Messi and Michael Jordan for a bag of Skittles were he not banned by the owners and suddenly he's alright. ALL managers have been derided as 'yes men' or puppets at some stage, even seeing people call for Pressley's head last season before he'd even hung his coat up.

If Tim Fisher is ever replaced, it wouldn't take much for people to reconsider their stance on Timmy Fishface and herald him as 'not as bad as the new guy'

It just takes the biscuit that so many people delight in the potential removal of someone because he didn't write exactly what they wanted him to.
Some people on here need to get a reality check.

But it's almost impossible to be completely neutral in tone as otherwise everything would read like a Wikipedia article.

If any editorials were calls for the owners heads that'd also have an agenda, just a more favourable one. If Les Reid's talking nonsense or claiming responsibility for saving the world as he was veering close to that's one thing and he certainly deserves criticism, but if it's some kind of offence that deserves sacking to lean towards a side on an argument every journalist would be out of a job.

If he has gone then it will more likley be for the way he's been responding to people on twitter. Didn't the last editor of the Telegraph get the push for having a go a people on twitter?

Can't see it being for anything he's published as an editor must have to approve that first unless what he's submitting currently is not suitable for publication.

No. Because he didn't do his job as a journalist. He threw all caution to the wind and made some rather libellous as hominim attacks of people with no justification.

I take the pleasure (if true) because he's a narcasistic twat and I enjoy seeing those types taken down a peg or two.
