Hindsight’s a wonderful thing. I look back and think the Trust knew exactly what they were doing with the £1 membership bollox. It was the basis for pushing their own agenda under the guise it was with the fans backing. They’ve done fuckall to engage the wider fanbase and institute any ways of collating a majority consensus. Why? It’s obviously not what they want. They’re a group of individuals with their own agenda. Yet, over the years, I’ve had to endure people on here defend them and actually encourage others to engage with them via the ONLY way possible; Attending, in person, on a fucking Tuesday night, down the fucking Squirrel 🍺 I mean, fuckme. Am I in a timewharp ? It’s like being down the Labour Club in ‘76 playing fucking bingo before the disco. Jesusfuckingwept

Little confused. Half a million shares at £0.02 is £10,000 not £100 isn't it?

EDIT: Re-read 0.02p. Idiot. Good job I am not re-training to be an accountant...
If it's any consolation that's why I asked - it was only when he said £100 I re-read it and thought ah fair enough!

I agree with most of that, but…

if more people from here had attended meetings, the board could by now have been fully made up of people from here. Even Grendel mooted going for one of the positions, then chickened out 😁

The trust used to be popular amongst fans and had many attend meetings and events

It’s a classic example of showing sport and politics do not mix

It’s now an embarrassment and an irrelevance and should be consigned to the rubbish bin where it belongs

When you have trust board members making LinkedIn accounts in your name calling your bosses cunts you kind of think it’s not really worth the effort

I guess they could do that, trust members or not. But another valid reason to get rid of them from the trust.

You are beyond naive
well, it was meant tongue in cheek, as my edit before you replied shows.

I would have thought given what some did, you would have been keen to see them ousted, with you doing the ousting. Must be my naivety again…

Exactly what part of the underhandedness and attempts to get people sacked don’t you understand? Even if I lived within a reasonable distance and was free as a fucking bird on a Tuesday night, I wouldn’t have gone within a mile of the Squirrel, let alone jollied up and asked for a slip to vote the fuckers out.

One guy at a school was reported by someone from the trust for unacceptable behaviour to the school governors - as if anyone would put up with that

different strokes I guess

i would have been delighted to get face to face with them, in fact I would have turned up just for that.

On the FSA issue. Dint someone contact them a while back and they basically said there can only be one fan group associated with them and thats the Trust is that would clearly make Roger the representative for the trust.

Didn't stop him going to St A's
No one says it did but when someone bleats about playing outside the city and then rolls out the red carpet it’s not a great look is it
