In these dark, dark days for our Club there aren't many shining lights. However one is; Sky Blues In The Community. My son was one of a dozen or so that finished doing their three day SBITC football course at St Nicks in Warwick today. He loved it. At the end they got a medal with the CCFC crest on and a voucher for two free tickets for a home game this season. (Mmmm...) One kid (who was about 8) did remark "What at Northampton?!" when he was told about the voucher.

The lads who ran the course were a nice lot and made the three days thoroughly enjoyable for all the kids there. Spread the word, they really do a good job for Coventry City and put Fisher et al to shame.

If you get the chance to support them, please do.

I work along side SBITC as part of my organisation supporting vulnerable adults. They are fantastic. Something we can all get behind and be proud of. Great management, great coaches with real passion and dedication.

Fantastic to hear some good news about the Club, must be supported by our owners (SISU) who also happen to be paying ALL the Staff's & Players wages from no current revenue streams.

PUSB!

As far as I'm aware, SBITC are self funded, relying of grants from the lottery, FL, FA etc. Their involvement with the club is that of association, which makes their achievements even more remarkable.

I had the honour of standing on the pitch at our last (ever??) home game at the Ricoh during a cheque presentation from the lottery for the scheme they run with my organisation.

Congratulations on potentially derailing a perfectly good, positive thread with your snarky non sequitur.

Nice to hear. I can remember I went to one years ago at Sidney Stringer and then the game after, didn't learn much though :(

Glad he enjoyed it, did they send him home with a contract draft?
