At some point would you be able to advise who will be looking for re-election?

Do we need another vote on a statement by the group here on Sky Blues Talk calling on the Sky Blue Trust to offer free annual membership before they have a vote on new board members?

Membership shouldn't be free

The small reason that it needs to somehow be funded?

I'm sure it can be funded by asking for voluntary donations from the membership if needed.

After all, you have a mailing list.

Especially if a stake in the club is one of the aims

Pie in the sky to have a stake. Having some influence is achievable though.

Influence by the Trust will only be achievable if they show themselves to be supporters of the club, not supporters of Wasps or the council.

It’s really not as it is a model up and down the country. And is a stated aim of supporters direct trusts. Wycombe and Norwich two modern examples. I agree it’s baby steps of course

I think the fact that the only 2 board members who have even attempted to engage with fans & modernise the Trust have just stood down tells you all you need to know.

The Trust has no interest in changing tact, they are a closed shop, militant SISU OUT protest group with forever diminishing credibility.

Won't be gifted it though Pete. Would have to buy in. I think it should be a long term aim but first off should just be gaining more influence.

Doesn't need to be the Trust. Could be something else.

It's CJ and that's it really. Neil did some bits on Twitter but refused to do anything on any other forums.

The problem is that the Trust have alienated themselves from the owners/the club. I'm not sure if that relationship is damaged beyond repair regardless of personnel.

I think one thing is for sure it’s needed in some guise but needs to have the right balance of representing the fan base, no group can fully represent the fan base as there are splinter cells everywhere as this week showed us but can come together for the common good. The link between the club and fans is closer than ever and probably the best time to re engage with the club on how they work together rather than against. Like most things our fans will follow someone who is strong enough to lead the SBT but that job takes time, effort and a bit of cash which is a struggle to most working people at the moment.
