Hardly ever accurate about anything though are they? Considering the shite they come out with and things they make up to try and discredit people for pointing out facts. They haven't really got a clue, I know that first hand because of the stuff they have tried to push about me.

Id take what Lionel and Tim say with a barrel of salt.
CJ didn't even know who Roger Ellis was, they aren't really the brightest and it shows every time.

I always thought Lionel was the original SISU OUT - properly resents having his share taken from him

Doesn't work like that. It existed well before all this and 'fizzled out', which in reality meant it was inactive until it was needed by someone else who took it over. Supporters Trusts aren't just going away, better to engage and reform.

I know. If you read my next post I’m well up for rejoining, I’m even happy to pay a yearly fee.

they’ve got to be open to changing their ways though. I mentioned a members only message board, online voting - they’ve really got to move away from just the turning up on a Monday night to a pub

...."if either of the three protagonists "win" the current round of legals"
"Face palm!"

Surely only two... CCC and SISU.... and we know that it is, at this stage a complaint.

Doesn't read that well to be honest, digs at owners (about meeting) and to play devils advocate, could they be ramping up official numbers to consume to work in exactly the same way hut claiming to have the biggest membership of CCFC, hence being the "voice of the fans!"

Could backfire if they don’t get the numbers

There are a couple of things the Sky Blue Trust need to do to regain the relevancy they once had but have lost recently.

They need to keep and at least show their renewed annual membership numbers for each year.

Many fear it has been turned into a closed shop which has become the unwitting mouthpiece for organisations who have had some involvement in the recent shenanigans which has dated back a few years.

I would like to see free membership whilst they re-engage with the people they are purportedly meant to represent, and for an election of new board members where they, and others, can put themselves forward with their own ideas on the future directions of the Trust.

The part where they're complaining about the club not engaging with the Trust, IMO that's not likely to change without removing certain people from the Trust. If they really do want a relaunch then those that have worked against the club in the past need to go before any attempt to engage with the club is made.

Unfortunately I think that’s correct.

They will never talk to them when you have the likes of Sleeping Bag Dave lurking around

The issue is that they think everybody else is thick, they will sneak around scheming with wasps, Haskell etc and then whinge the club won't talk to them.

They just try to bullshit their way out of things, CJ not knowing who Roger Ellis is was a decent example.

They just say whatever they think people want to hear to stop asking them questions while they carry on scheming.

There's no consistency either, haven't most of them boycotted then not boycotted and keep switching if they will go depending on the weather?

Don't think they've even officially announced he's not on the board let alone a reason. We only found out when CJ mentioned it in a post on here.

Current board is:
Dave Eyles - Chair
Bruce Walker - Vice Chair & Secretary
Rachel Brown - Treasurer
Andy Fletcher
Myself
Nigel Lawrence

The 6 are either leaving the board or standing for re-election at the AGM (looking at early August). New blood is desperately needed. If that means none, one or two remain and we have a new group of people willing to do what’s needed to drive it forward then I doubt any of the 6 will have a problem with that. I certainly don’t.

This is good. Are there plans to reboot the trust - allowing more accessibility? Online voting and even a yearly membership.

I’d gladly pay yearly Increased fees rather than a 1 off £1 if you guys truly represent the fans and not try to undermine the club at every turn?

That’s what I’d love to see happen. More than happy to get involved with setting that and a few other things up regardless of if I’m on the board or not. Certainly is needed and has been for some time. Frustrating that it hasn’t been put in place.

Why hasn't it been put in place? Who's stopping it?

When did David Johnson leave?

Is Johnson and Kalns miles away from the scene?

May start to help mending the relationship with the club. It’s all well and good having relationships with wasps and the council. But the outright backing and fawning of them wasn’t going to endear the trust to the club

Haven’t heard from either for ages. I’ve said for some time the only way how the relationships with the club and it’s owners can be mended is if new people join the board. I’m not fussed if they would be replacements or additions. What ever has the desired effect to sort it out is good with me. That has rarely happened over the last few years though. We’ve all always said we want new people in and are willing to make way for them if necessary.

How come nothing was mentioned?

I mean you say that you want to improve comms but no mention of it to members.
