SISU could be acused of undermining ACL's business by not coughing up the rent. Likewise then if ACL are actively seeking buyers for a football club they do not own then they are undermining the football club ie: in effect SISU's operations.

Good luck with that :claping hands:

Really????? It is his opinion not the forums, just like it is the sky blues trust members who want sisu out and say it on tv but not the trust...

Nice to see you want to waste the trusts money on legal fees

He also said it was the Council who brokered the deal with Tesco. Uh-uh.

I'm not sure i've seen any senior member of the Sky Blue Trust fully commit to their assertion that the investors waiting in the wings are willing and able to support Coventry City as owners. Which is worrying,

Pathetic.

Isn't this what Mike Mcginnity tried to do as well?

We believe there are at least two potential buyers who are waiting for the right time to buy the club.
Membership fees are solely for the running of the Trust -postage, etc. As yet, the Trust does not have any money to put into buying a share in the club. We are right at the beginning of the process, and we don't know whether we'll have to do that yet. After all, th club isn't in admin and SISU don't want to sell. An enquiry amongst a few (very few) members resulted in over £17.000 being pledged on an informal basis.
I think Jan has outlined the way we'd raise funds on another thread, so I won't go into the mechanics of that.

£17k - that'll pay 2 maybe 3 players salaries for 1 week! Just as thought Sky blues Trust - self promoting time wasters. They were talking like it was a given they could get about 5k-6k fans putting in a grand each - turns out at BEST they have 17!

All these band of idiots have achieved is a failed boycott, a failed film night (29 people) and now it seems the best they can do from 800 membersis 17k! (just over £200 each!). They cannot even manage to get the tannoy set to a decent level! Yet highlight this, and boy they make SiSU look like choirboys!

The sooner the SBT are put into the dustbin of history (along with SiSU) the better. If anything they hamper any moves (how can they possible argue they could independantly arbitrate when they have already gone on record they want SiSU out!

These guys (ESPECIALLY the utterly ineffective Jan) are a total joke

£10m for ccfc?

From which assylum did we find these buyers?

It's an example. The point I'm making is that when you buy the club you can buy it off 2 different organisations.

Why get personal? I might not agree but its a bit harsh to slate people personally!

As for the film night, deano is a top bloke and i bet it took him ages to get it ready!

So are you saying that they lied when thru said it was the liquidation threat?

All they really are doing is playing god with the club and will jeopardise promotion this season and condemn it to a relegation fight next just so someone picks up the tab.

Sensational allegation.

Is there any evidence?

Sensational attempt at twisting things.

Administration may have in ACL's not been a feasible option without a buyer in place for the very reasons you say above.

Any other organisation that didn't care about a football club would do it with or without a buyer in place.

They now know they can carry the threat through and either get the money they are legally owned or get an owner for CcFC they can do business with.

Which I think you have to agree long term is the best for CCFC.

You have repeatedly said you only support the best for CCFC whatever it is.

Now you need to get behind ACL

Might not be a lot but at least they are trying and doing more than you.
As for film night, fair play to Deno, never went myself but wish him well in anything that may put a smile on a real fans face

all of this is just what sisu want, 'let'screate a split in the fans debate',
however, the essence of which just might be,
to seek the real truth,
who knows what that is,
we (CCFC) fans, have been fed years of stories, according to whichever regime has had control,
i suppose it's down to who you believe,
however since dec 2007 have we ever had a reason to believe what our conglomerate & vague owners have said,
i'm more than aware previous regimes have little substance,
i just hope that THE TRUTH will be revealed,
we are CCFC & not an invisible mob

Correct me if I am wrong but wasnt it you that said ACL do not get the car parking money and that CCFC sold it to another company?

Then you failed to ever prove that and when some of said we paid ACL for parking you seemed to go silent?

Should be careful. You could be up for a libel charge.

It was just playing in the background when I said it, I was only trying to add some humour, no need to bite my arm off!

I'm not being funny, but where is the evidence though? I weren't challenging you to boost my ego, I just want to know. Problem?

The annoying thing about the Trusts behaviour is that its smacks completely of self interest - ie positioning themselves as the voice of the fans and hoping to cosy up to any potential new investor. Hence the "we know but cant tell you" stuff - how many times have we heard that from people round the club who have gone on to make idiots of themselves - Elliot, Linnell, Brolly etc
Im sure most fans couldnt give a stuff about having "fan representation" on the board of the club as long as the club is viable and functioning.

Fan representation is a good idea, as long as it's that, and not a free PR campaign for any owners.
