i can fully understand all of those nominations,
however, i am one of a dwindling number who had the opportunity to watch / witness George Hudson,
to kick off by back heeling the ball to the feet of Ronnie Rees, standing on the left wing, was 1 of so very many outrageous feats of his

There is no doubting his skill and many scintillating goals, but he played only 113 games for us. George Curtis played 487. And without Curtis marshalling the defence behind him and winning so many defensive challenges, it's doubtful whether any of the other Coventry players would have been as succesfull.

I know it can only be one player, but it simply has to be Ian Wallace and James Maddison.
