You've missed the all important question mark:

He was, of course, but posters on here for a period seemed to think he was something else.

If you feel he is a small time hack then what's this crusade all about? A need to defend Grendel stance on pointing out double standards and hypocrisy? Grendel is very much like SISU... he may make the odd remark that makes sense but this does not forgive the many atrocities that came before it.

Crusade? No, I'm bored and it's very easy to get a bite. I don't need or want to defend Grendel, he seems to enjoy doing that himself.

The one thing we've never heard is "We're going to make an offer" from the SISU side and "We're going to name our price" from the CCC side. We get talk of meetings about meetings, discussions about discussions, deals about deals.

Sorry, I meant my side, not SISU side.

But that's the problem with Sisu as I see it, they want it so they should make an offer, ACL/CCC don't really want to sell so why should they name a price. As we all know ACL/CCC have to sell it for a fair price but if they get 3 valuations and pick an average, will Sisu come and meet that price or get anywhere near it, I seriously doubt it, which is why I think we are fucked for a long time to come because if ACL/CCC are true to their word and do start making a profit which turns into a healthy profit and it snowballs from there, how can Sisu really distress them anymore ? I just didn't think that Sisu would have been so bloody minded and stupid to continue to make the loses they are instead of taking the latest rental offer and go from there. This whole JR is pie in the sky because even if Sisu win it it doesn't really change anything from what I can see.

SISU could continue with the JR and many appeals that go with it to distress ACL/CCC financially, after all the "profits" they are declaring seem to be modest at best. It would be hard for any business having the little profits they were making wiped out year after year on expensive legal bills.

The impudent statement of "if Lucas wants to sell she should get on a train and come see us" as if they are now holding all the cards. If they really believe this, then they will also believe they will get it on the cheap as well.

That's if you believe they do want the freehold and the freehold only. My belief is that the plan to distress ACL continues and the JR is one of the tactics they're using.

As I understand it the JR has nothing to do with ACL, it is the CCC that are being challenged. They have a greater access to funding so whilst wopuld find the effect unpleasant they could carry on. With regards to the CCC selling the RICOH, if they wanted too, they would go out to find potential purchasers, so it would not just be SISU. They don't need to sell, I don't think they want too sell (Not to SISU anyway). So if SISU want it, just make an offer! whats the worst that can happen? The CCC say no, not enough.
I think if SISU had the funds they would make an offer, the fact they have not made an offer speaks volumes.
