Its the way they do it that pisses me off. They make a song and dance about three signings in one week and how it will be jam tomorrow, to the point of e-mailing anyone who cares to read, then drip the bad news in afterwards. When Keogh goes and maybe another, will they really have strengthened the squad for the year ahead ? You can bet your ass they won't replace Bigi and Keogh (who I think will go to Derby). It's a re-shuffle of names, no actual investment. When will these twats feck off !
Can't wait to hear Fishy Tim on CWR after 7 !

Osb I wonder what has happened to the potential money that was available to purchase the share in the Ricoh.
I believe they probably offered such a derisory amount say 2million up front which would have come from player sales and then more based on promotion. But we will never Know !!!

probably a completely different source of finance and only for that purpose sbj ..... never any liklihood that it could or would be spent on players

He was a player we could have kept, he's on minuscule wages, and is a player who will increase massively in value. That implies that whoever has their hands on the tiller is thinking only short-term. It makes no sense to anyone who understands football finance. I can only hope they fuck off soon, or I have now lost my club.

Are you still here i thought when your lord Gael left you werent supporting the club anymore?. For what its worth i agree with the sale as its good money for an unproven player, with talent i dont dispute, but still unproven. Id rather use the money to invest in the team on 2-3 players to get us out of this division which Gael wouldnt have acheived in my opinion.

Bigi is a good young player but NUFC only see him as a future player & needs to develop more, he had a so so season for us & I believe he is not the type of player to get us out of L1. We still have good young players coming through & when they do we will be saying Bigi who?? L1 is a tough division remember us against Bury! We struggled. We need no nonsence battlers & goalscorers not fancy foot work & players looking good with 5/10 yards passes . Play up Sky Blues

Didn't the accounts show that Senior Management had not taken wages?

Not from the club, but I'll wager they do not work for free. Whatever fee they are paid will be from some other SISU controlled company or SISU direct.

We are passing through a financial firestorm and rightly or wrongly CCFC have cut everything to the bone and their only real source of significant funds is player dealings (aside from fans)
<snip>
I think we need to get used to us cashing in on players to create cashflow especially now in League 1.

Like Sunderland changed their nickname to 'The Black Cats' I think the Sky Blues should be renamed 'The Traders'. But seriously, it is the only option, whoever is in charge has to keep the money flowing from the consumer who pays for TV to the big clubs and down the pyramid via the transfer system. Anyone who thinks City can just buy & retain the best players with no income to speak of is a bit of a idiot. Of course if City had had even mediocre management in the last 20 years we would never be in this state, unfortunately we have been passed round from gamblers to asset strippers.

Good business !!!
Bigi only five foot !!!
Not suited to this division !!!

What a load of tosh, we have given away potentialy our best player for nothing and all the sisu lovers are trying to justify it.
Invest it in 2-3 players dont make me laugh !!!

I honestly don't know where this myth comes from that you need to be tall and strong to succeed in this league.

If Messi was playing in league one he would rip it up, and he is a right short arse.
