Think you should just start a seperate thread about your issues with what he posted regarding sixfields.
That's your real issue.
He hasn't attended Wasps to support them or watch the match, he went to protest against SISU. So your point isn't really relevant.

With regards to the actual OP West.
The people who complained to you. What was their complaint?

Yeah ok then, it was all for a protest.

28000 seem to do so now, only about 8000 watch city, said this before I drive a mini-bus with 10 kids on 3 go to Wasps regularly NONE go to Sky Blues. While we remain run as we are and adrift in the bowels of the Football League and Wasps at the top end of their league this will continue.

For the record I wish they weren't here but I can't turn back time.

They have a few tests ahead yet. Will their attendances keep up when the free tickets reduce? Will their attendances keep up when they go on a bad run? How will they pay off the bonds when they mature? It is bad enough for them just keeping up with the payments to the bond holders.

And no. They are not a local side for Coventry. Just like we were not a local side for Northampton.

Try looking back. All I said is that it would be good if SISU expanded the comment that they made and hopefully we would be able to get behind them and aim our displeasure at who it needs to be aimed at. All I have got from some is utter shite that it isn't their fault and I should be asking the others. Or that I am accusing CCFC. And then people wonder why we are so divided.

Maybe the grief some have tried to give me would have been called for if I had said what is alleged. This place is becoming a joke.

So what's that got to do with this thread if it's about another one?

It is like having several wifes on here. People waiting for you to say something that they can make out that you have said something totally different.

This is an odd response to not knowing fixtures of a team you don't follow

Funny isnt it? He was mega abusive in the past and now but we won't mention that bit as he had a SISU Out flag, which makes it all ok.

And there is not ONE person on here defending SISU.

If I'd paid good money to see a Wasps game I would want to see it. Not have to peer round a SISU out flag.

But well done for you passion. The same passion that took fans to follow their team in Sixfields. Not quite. For many the club stabbed the fans in the heart but their head told the it was all wrong to follow the club out of the city..since then, it's been further decline. Pity this thread escalated into a slanging match.

Passion? Is that what we call abuse on here now?

Fair play to you, if you had to go to the game at least you made a statement.

Someone takes a SISU OUT flag to a wasps game. He gets people having a go. I and others say that if we knew more about the Hands tied' comment we might be able to do something. I get people having a go.

Maybe not defending SISU. But as close to putting up a defence for them as you could without defending them.

Interesting that they didn't sell out They are top of the league, playing their "local rivals" against the countries top rugby union side (I heard Leicester Tigers described as the Man Utd of rugby on 5 Live the other day). You wouldn't think it would get any better for them than that and they still can't sell out the stadium. Besides the freebes mentioned on here, they must have given away loads of tickets. My son works at a school in Birmingham and they were giving away free tickets there too. Doesn't bode well for them when they inevitably slip down the league at some point. No loyal fan base up here to supports them. Can't see franchise support sticking by them if things dip on the pitch. Would they average 9k if they were at the bottom of rugbys third tier and have all of the associated problems we have? I don't think so. I think an organised protest at a Wasps game would be good(against Sisu).

It's nothing to do with the flag is it? Stop making stuff up, it's embarrassing.

I'd say the same if he went and said the beer was warm. The same as I have pointed it out to others who were keen to abuse others who didn't have a flag.

Then you wonder why people quote you and tell you that you are making things up.

Thing is. Because he held up a flag a couple of times people defend the hypocrisy.

It's pretty straight forward stuff.

So was it defending sisu with other people who I've pointed out their past quotes about sixfields when it comes to wasps when they didn't have a flag?

Yes, I am right.

Can you imagine if the flag was SISU OUT on one side and WASPS OUT on the other. Would he be told 'Well done you hypocrite'?

Was it ok when I only went to watch the team I had supported since birth too then without all the abuse he gave?
What about when he abused people who put up signs around there too?

So we should call Grendel a hypocrite frequently as he said that his protesting against SISU was not going to games in Northampton and then he went?

No we shouldn't. We need to try and get together as a unit. But your reasoning says otherwise.

It wasn't about Wasps, it was a SISU OUT protest, and 90%of people appreciated that.

To raise awareness of our predicament, if you hadn't noticed we are neck deep in the brown stuff, lots of Wasps fans asked about SISU and what was happening.
