I think they made them drape it over the seats rather than wave it around, but I was surprised they didn't confiscate it and Rodney King the kids who unfurled it too.
It was very interesting: at one point a steward ran upstairs, seemed to be asking what they should do about it, and then just went back down-assumingly having been told to leave it. We should bedeck the stadium in them at future games!
Common sense by someone i imagine (i dont no who tho). There were about 5 normal minutes left so there was no point causing unrest.
I did see 3 orange jacket stewards talking to a man in a suit so i imagine he had something to do with the decision maybe? It obviously wasnt Orange Ken!
They said on R5 earlier that Blackburn fans were planning balloons and even paid for a plane to fly over with a banner draped behind it!
I wonder, Ben who posts on here said that he usually puts his banner up near the end as they can't be bothered to remove them by then. Was it him? I particularly liked the bit where they turned it around to show it to the directors box, nice touch!
