Sisu are to blame for most things but not today's debacle... (6 Viewers)

It is the ACL and the council who have cost us a 10 point deduction and probable relegation. Things were going to be hard enough this season with not being able to sign players in this transfer window we are going to struggle and now with another points deduction we have no chance.

The ACL and council have in my opinion left any moral high ground they had and become as bad as sisu.

We need to get behind the players and team on away days and show out support, with any luck we might just avoid relegation no thanks to the ACL, council and sisu

Yes, the best thing we can do is get 100% behind the team. . If you want to got to Northampton it's up to you. For me, I'll be supporting on away games. Lets smash this league and get back where we belong.

This unfortunately shows the inherent contradiction in following the team away but not home... I think the only way that fans can win is to disown this team entirely, shame for the players but until something changes they are no longer 'us', and whether they win or lose tomorrow is irrelevant.

Sorry I don't agree that this is all ACLs fault. SISU put the club in administration and paid off the admin to sell it to themselves. As I have been reading on here this is what the fans wanted ... Acl to rejects the agreement. It's difficult as the admin adjourned the meeting twice bringing it upto this deadline. So no its the admins fault .... And SISU ...... And acl. They are all to blame for playing games with our club.

Can't agree, SISU would definitely have put CCFC Ltd in liquidation in the close season anyway if the administration had not been taking place.

Both as bad as each other, council showed their stubbornness today however which has dropped us in it but it is a case of two spoilt children not wanting to talk. Our fans suffer again as a result

Why haven't they now then?

The best thing to happen now would be for all the players to put in transfer request. I know it won't happen but it might make me feel a little better.

Yes agree ACL have played straight into SISU arms - they must have realised that the Football League had only two options today, with only 24 hrs before season starts, as it would be impossible to pass it to anyone else;
Kick CCFC out of the league or Give the golden share to Otium.

Now absolute no chance of going back to Ricoh.

Presume we must be out of administration now.

Is anything going on to start a supporters ownership scheme like Portsmouth, and buy it off Otium.

But I will support the Team, even in Northampton, although very rarely goto home games.
Today was a close thing and the Club could had been thrown out of the League.

Are the Council Officers and Councillors who made this decision going to be contra charged by the audit office, as they just saved Otium half million pounds.
Also how much have they spent on legal fees.
Questions need to be answered at the Council House.

Qoute from ACL last March "We taking the action to save the Club from Liquidation" (SISU).
Only thing they done is caused the Club point deduction in two seasons. I am wondering do they actually want a football club in Coventry.

My temporary solution ; Rugby team play at Ricoh and the Football at the Butts.
Long term the Council must sell the Stadium to a company to develop it as a leisure and conference complex including football (But not to SISU or Otium).

Does seem odd that ACL were the ones who put us into liquidation, something they said they were trying to stop SISU doing. Bad as each other.

First line of Fisher statement on ccfc.co.uk
CCFC Ltd (the company that entered administration) will be put into liquidation after ACL failed to accept the Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA) put forward by the administrator.

Strikes me that these people want it all their own way.
SISU and ACL are as bad as each other.

If you support SISU's stance you are crazy so say a majority on here. I would say the same should be applied to ACL support.

But where does that leave us the supporters watching our club get torn apart?

I guess the difference here from normal situations is that all that happens is CCFC (Ltd) is liquidated and frankly I think SISU/Otium would have done that anyway but not before ACL got back half a million quid!

The golden share will be with CCFC (Holdings) effectively the football club and has never been in administration and that will unite the player registrations etc. They will trade as the football club as normal. ACL could approach them and offer them the same rent deal they just offered CCFC(Ltd) and see if Fisher is interested?
I fear though that ACL have played their last card and SISU will go ahead with the JR and squeeze the life out of ACL. ACL should have played the card better and tried to move forward. It's not a game they are particularly good at.
A certain amount of ego has clearly got in the way here at the expense of all the suporters and amazingly the other lease holders and contractors associated with the Ricoh! I bet Compass are not too happy or the casino and any other interested party right down to employment for stewards and match day staff, even the police who get a hefty wad for 'policing' the match days. They all lose out.

ACL are just as much an embarrassment as SISU imho.

Acl were put in an impossible position, sign to sisu's terms or else. This has made acl look bad (fishers tone earlier could not have hid his delight at all) and its what sisu wanted all along liquidation of CCFC ltd

Fisher knew exactly what he was doing when he switched assets and it is very clear from the board reports of 08 what has gone on. There will be a civil prosecution and a detailed investigation into how Fisher and the football league have colluded in this sorry affair, interesting HMRC also rejected, could it be Seppala is under the spotlight

This thread should be re titled:
"Sisu played a blinder"!
Sisu had the costly Acl rental agreement terminated!
Played for free at Ricoh all last season as Acl refused the CVA? (Minus match costs Sisu paid)!
Can still claim to be in big debt as Sisu creditors did not get the CVA, thanks to Acl's refusal!
Biggest thing is Sisu switched the blame from Sisu to Acl!
Fisher loved gloating that it was Acl who claimed that Sisu would liquidate CCFC, yet it ended up with Acl liquidating CCFC (ltd).
Sisu 1 Acl 0.

Agreed

If any good has come out of this, we are no longer obligated to CCC or ACL. Still stuck with SISU for the time being though.

ACL by default in turning down the CVA are totally responsible for all auditor and administrators cost which could be well over 1/2 million so that needs to be added to the lost rent . This years books are going to look pretty sick for ACL . I would not be surprised if its in the region of a £2million

Just fuck off mate.

I dunno if you're a kid who thinks its funny or an opposition fan but whichever it is let me tell you: there are people here genuinely hurting, your childish trolling is inappropriate and pathetic. It's also like shooting fish in a barrel when it comes to getting a rise as its an emotional topic.

So in summary you are either and evil c**t or a stupid one, whichever it is you should go take a look at your life.
