In any type of regulated business you cannot continue illegal activities while in office, regardless if you claim they have no tangible link. Its a case of demonstrating honesty and trust. Unfortunately the regulators here The FL & FA are fooking useless.

This I completely agree with and is why I shared the article on here - it makes sense.

My grudge is with SISU though for the aforementioned reason.

In my little world Rose West unwittingly introduced Fred to his victims and didn't murder anybody herself. ;-)

As far as club owners and MDs go, SISU are the current problem, and we can do something about it.



Some supporters have the view that NOPM won't affect SISU ie the costs have all been budgeted for and will be fully funded by SISU - that being the case, i'm sure they wont mind if we just carry on with NOPM, as it's the only power he have.

Id also pop a tinfoil hat on and say that a Championship club is a better vehicle for this stuff than a Prem club, though Id like to see figures for profit from transfers, I suspect its best if youre buying from L1 and selling to Prem/upper Championship. Which would mean not caring about building a team.

stand to be corrected but wasn't Ranson behind Registered European Football Finance ltd who lent the club money against player registrations back in 2001?
Certainly the company appeared on city accounts pre-SISU as a creditor.

That's what I'm wondering. Did he transfer bet with our players?

No evidence to suggest he did which is why I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt.

If he did though, then yes 'crook' and more than definitely in the same category as SISU.

Agreed, but the pool wasn't clean before they decided to do a poo in the deep end.

My preference would be to get rid of them all and run a club with a balanced budget. Success would require developing our own. Crewe on a grander scale (alternatively known as the German model).

Ranson gave his sports analysis company to the club to allow it to fulfill fixtures the year he left - at a value of around £5 million! Maybe NOPM will make sisu struggle maybe not, but giving money to sisu will definitely aid sisu! Certainly by paying you are guaranteed not to distress sisu!

Thus it is only logical that going to matches is aiding sisu. It is perfectly possible to support the team (which all fans should want to do) without physically being at matches! Only those trying to justift the unjustifiable are still trying to spout that myth.
