The fact Ranson was into this type of betting starts to explain why SISU would have been interested in us.
Taking a football club on was a mistake, they should have just stuck the transfer betting (provided that's what they were doing of course).
It's funny, Ranson is like Rose West to SISU's Fred in your little world.
Richardson is an old problem-it's in the past, and we can't do anything about it.
Robinson is an old problem-it's in the past, and we can't do anything about it.

As far as club owners and MDs go, SISU are the current problem, and we can do something about it.
Some supporters have the view that NOPM won't affect SISU ie the costs have all been budgeted for and will be fully funded by SISU - that being the case, i'm sure they wont mind if we just carry on with NOPM, as it's the only power he have.
Can this be reposted in every thread LS posts in?
"He did it too!" is the kind of argument my Year 7s give.
Not sure how I feel about transfer betting on the whole, everyone benefits so not sure what the problem is. Except of course the accounting side. How does that impact on FFP and third party ownership rules?
Id also pop a tinfoil hat on and say that a Championship club is a better vehicle for this stuff than a Prem club, though Id like to see figures for profit from transfers, I suspect its best if youre buying from L1 and selling to Prem/upper Championship. Which would mean not caring about building a team.
This I completely agree with and is why I shared the article on here - it makes sense.
My grudge is with SISU though for the aforementioned reason.
I thought Thorn brought in Fox and Dann? Changes with the wind to suit...

But on who's backing, Thorn only ever ID'd the players?
If you you know more would love to hear it.
It is just that people often use players brought in to back up arguments like with Thorn he was a great scout and people go on and about Fox and Dann as an example who were signed before Thorn was even here...
Didn't Eric Black discover them then pass the info on to Peter Reid who couldn't be arsed to follow it up. The info was then found in the top drawer of the managers desk by Micky Adams who had already spent his budget so gave it to Iain Dowie???
You're obviously overlooking the fact that Snoz and Curtis were there when both were conceived and knew from the rhythmic lovemaking, that both would be quality 'results'.....
Isnt this something similar to what happened when 'we' bought and sold robbie keane ?
The £5m profit wasnt the clubs, but belonged to the people who actually bought him...always believed GR was involved ?
