Scenes when the personal chef we offer to fund turns out to be the bossman from Istanbul and Gus has 3 rotating spits in his kitchen.Hamer, got to be done. Tell him he can come home if he commits to sorting his lifestyle out. Pay for a personal chef even, peanuts in the grand scheme of things.
He clearly has the talent but not the discipline but with the right support that sorted. His numbers in the Prem were decent a shite side
Shape Hamer is in the pace of the PL would absolutely destroy him. Can't have someone with that unprofessional an attitude towards their diet and fitness in the PL, let alone at a club that will likely be struggling and chasing the ball a lot.Scienza best LW I have seen us play
Hamer class player with CCFC and Premier league experience.
Not sure there are any more I would realistically buy.

From Sheff Utd I would look at Brooks Peck and Burrows. Some of the players mentioned on here are beyond us, even if we go up. Summerville for example will be on silly mpney, plus will have suitors from established PL clubs. I would consider Watford have a handful of promising players. Azeex at Millwall looks decent. Value for money is probably in Europe though.
Peck's passing isn't great at this level, never mind for the Premier League. And Burroughs has been poor for much of this season with him only finding a bit of form recently. From Sheff Utd I would look at Brooks Peck and Burrows.
Ipswich if the don’t go up I’d look at Clarke Davis and Philogene.
Leicester only consider Farawu.
Southampton don’t think I would consider anyone.
Whether I would buy any of those though would depend on getting a bargain.
The only player in the Championship I would actively go after is Imran Louza.
They both went down the full "championship all stars" route, which definitely isn't the way to do it. There could still be a player or 2 to look at.I wouldn’t be shopping in the championship, Ipswich and Luton have shown that isn’t the way to go.
I can't belive the OP is looking to take advantage of his brethren in this way.So thinking about us building for next season in the premiership fingers crossed.
is there any players in the parachute teams this season ie Leicester, Southampton, Ipswich, Shef Utd who would be worth us looking at or are we better avoiding ?
Don't feed the monster is my motto!I can't belive the OP is looking to take advantage of his brethren in this way.
GK:
Rushworth we will absolutely try to sign and I’d imagine will cost us the best part of £20m
Dovin will be back up if his rehab goes fine
Wilson will leave
Would you prefer a player with some Prem experience where you have seen how they coped there, or would you prefer a player without Prem experience and hope for the best?Don’t get this thread. Signing anyone from parachute clubs is a mistake- by definition they have bags of money anyway so the players are likely to be overpaid and overpriced.
Maybe there are others in the championship worth a look- Hackney if Boro didn’t go up etc. but parachute clubs specifically I’d steer clear of.
We will need a minimum of 2 CB’s. All our existing ones will be back up at best. For me, if we can sign 3 premier league proven quality players, same calibre of like xhaka, in the 3 main positions as in left centre back, left back and striker I think we will just about stay up thats in my view, anything more is a bonus.

Hamer was one of my favourite players, would’ve loved him back in Jan. But him jumping back aboard just for the prem wouldn’t be the same.View attachment 49586
3rd story I've read in 24 hours about hamer at end of season, 2nd linking him to us.
An agents work is never done....
Nah. If they were good enough they’d have been snapped up on relegation.
AI gives me just these in the last twenty years who have stayed at a relegated club for a year or more then gone on to be successful in the PL, anyone got more?
Joao Pedro - Watford > Brighton moved age 22
Jarrod Bowen - Hull > West Ham moved age 23
Michael Carrick - West Ham > Spurs aged 23
Emiliano Buendia - Norwich > Villa aged 25
Most of those were one season in the Championship.
I think PL scouts are pretty good and it’s rare players play in the Championship and aren’t picked up if they can make it. Especially if they’re over 23.
