I wouldn't like to say mate, it's obvious we need to change something, I think we have a decent squad, you can argue whether it's better than last seasons, but in parts yes and in parts no.

Personally I like SP but results haven't been good enough, I'd be willing to give him a few more games to turn things around..

Just look at his record with a decent squad in this league dont understand why he is still there. Never seen worst football get rid before we drop another league.

Options should have been YES and NOT YET instead of YES and NO.

..... I don't believe he put this team together by choice but by desperation, I don't believe he said right Murphy is off we need a goalkeeper, scout around you know who I think looks good, Allsop lets see if we can sign him. Nope it's the owners sold my best player out from under me, not giving me the funds to invest but we got a few freebie loans for half a season thrown in, ones a keeper, well I guess thats my starter then.

Actually before the season started, he gave Burge the no 1 jersey and stated he believed Burge was good enough to be our number one. Whether he really believed that or not, who knows. It was only after he was offered Allsop as part of a swap deal, thet Allsop became our number one. But Burge still has the no 1 on his jersey. The fact is Murphy wanted to stay but was forced out. It's obvious to me that an experienced goalkeeper should have been our top priority since the season began. Its still our top priority in my opinion.

They still sing his praises on the terraces though.
Haven't heard any Pressley out chants yet.

So maybe the majority that go every week want him to stay?

Disagree, i think we have a shite squad. A team of has beens, journeymen and players who just cannot cut it in our league. We have some decent prospects btu thats about it, a team of loanees does not work for consistent results and this is our downfall. We have one of the most expensive squads (in terms of salary) but they certainly dont earn it, i think SP has seen his day sadly but he needs to take most of the squad with him.

And who would replace him?

Who would want to work for our owners?

Would you, given their track record?

I think we're stuck with him ......... and him with us, for now!

Long time reader first time poster.I dont think it players it the way there being deployed. We need to defend in their half alot more not in the last third of the pitch. We might see our 2 strikers and get then in the box a bit more, spend more time in training on corners throw ins and free kicks .Try breaking out faster instead of 10 or so passes around the back before a 50/50 ball via the keeper.

Looks like the Poll is pretty close from the comments on here I would have expected a 90% out.

Just goes to show, some are willing to give him a bit more time and see what happens seems the seasons over anyway just need to stay in this league now.........
