In Italy this year the refs have stopped giving fouls like this and let more physicality go. No coincidence been so many great games already this season.

Prem needs to wake up but they don't wanna go back to old blood and thunder days when top euro stars turned the league down to go elsewhere because didn't fancy being in a war of a game (I mean money played.a fsctor too lol). But I feel like they want to protect their brand and not let it slip.

I think this may be where the underlying 'emc isnt good enough' is coming from as it was noticeable against Brighton he did this 2-3 times and didn't get the free kick.

We need players to be tough and strong, diving down like that just puts us under immediate pressure

EMC has always done it. He goes down very easily looking for free kicks for such a big bloke.
