Hope they go bust and we get given 6 points for both this season's games.

Aren't all games involving them voided and it becomes a 23 team competition if they go bust?

Some strange people on here.

We’re supposed to be grateful to Birmingham for taking £2m from us to let us play at their ground, but not want to support a club in genuine need of help because less than 1% of its supporters were acting like morons a few years ago

Palmer was booed by more than 100 fans in the cup game (14k gate of which 4k were Cov)

It's mad to think that there's Cov fans anywhere that should be thinking anything but supporting this.

The idea that it’s been purposely planned for our game just to try and get one over on us is a laughable take.

There are other ways they can protest. I'd say equally impactful to all go in early, sing and cheer then leave on the whistle to start the game. If they do that, I don't mind clapping in solidarity, but I guess those who are saying we should support the game being abandoned won't be travelling. It means wasting time, effort and money to then most like have to travel again.

Sorry if this is a silly question but this will be our first away game for ages. I've had to book my son's ticket after mine and my daughter's and he is 2 rows back from us, will he be able to just come and sit with us. Do people just sit anywhere?

Yeah, it's laughable. In the same way we didn't choose to protest against Sheffield United because it was Sheffield United.

How many booed him?

Also a club like Sheffield Wednesday will have a fanbase in excess of 150k people

Sit, stand, it’s all folk playing silly buggers. I got shouted at at Cardiff away by one of our fans for standing. About two or three seasons back.

i remember there were plenty of sheff weds fans who were not ok about it and i remember that kid and his family who came to the cbs in person to apologise to palmer. i have been to hillsborough a few times over the years and don't remember it being too bad there. some idiots sure but then i've been to enough away games to have seen more than a few idiots in our fans as well.

i will support their fans in trying to get that terrible owner out just as i was grateful for any fans that sympathised with or tried to help us. im going to the match so hope it goes ahead and isn't stopped, but it is desperate times for that lot and most of them will be sound people, who have supported their team for decades, and can see it being destroyed in front of their eyes

As an aside
We had safe standing tickets at Cardiff when they first had it
Get in and the stewards said go where you like
Even in the seated area they were all stood , makes a mockery of it

I was at that game and most of their fans stayed behind to join in the applause for Oggys last game at the end of the match

Obviously not all of them but Palmer got widespread boos at the Fa cup game only a week or two after the incident, which was pretty poor form.

Of course it's poor form but many of them would have been defensive and not thinking normally.

They absolutely deserve our support. Fans need to work together far more against shit owners.

Depends who you ask! Can be a touchy subject for some. But on the whole, if you want to be together, head up.to the seats a bit earlier than most (you may get moved by a "this is my seat" person doing this) or, wait right til the end as kick off is about to go, and look for a gap big enough. On the whole its not a huge issue!

150k people is only 20% of the population of Sheffield! That's just Sheffield, not including all the pit towns and villages surrounding it that will have a mix of Blunts and Owls fans.

To think he's delusional for suggesting they could have 150k fans is, in itself, delusional. Just Saying!

Well if they invade the pitch and the game is abandoned then we’re awarded 3 points regardless of the score.

Joking aside I hope we’d support their action. We know exactly how it feels to have owners that don’t give a fuck. Theirs is actively just destroying them

Absolutely agree. But not happening I would have thought. Invasions usually happen when anyone least expects it. Think the Police and stewards will be ready for it. If they are not, roll out conspiracy theories now.

My bet is that there will be loads of spare seats anyway. It’s the same most away games despite the full allocation being sold. Maybe the clubs have spare seats as a matter of routine.
