Ankle injuries can be fine one second and not the next. He would most probably have to play through the pain barrier at some stage if a starter. If not needed he will have a decent break before our next game.

Id prefer to see BTA in the number 10. BTA spends a lot of time on the wing cutting inside anyway. Look at the first goal on Wednesday. Why play 2 players out of position when you can play just one out of position? His movement is good, his energy is high, he's got goals and assists in him. I have zero problem with playing BTA in the 10 role

It's a fair shout but others have said he doesn't have the technical ability to play the 10 for me, poor in tight spaces.
Does look like BTA in the warm up though
Whatever the injuries been he's only just come back from it and a long time out, just too rusty,or am I missing something, was he in included in the week?

Im not overly worried that Allen is playing today. I am, however, worried that Eccles is injured AGAIN (Sheaf MkII?), Rudi is out for a few weeks, and Torp is injured with no news. We're 1 injury to Allen away from playing Andrews or changing formation away from what has given us so much profit this season. I assume it will be OK bringing on Andrews on 70 minutes today if we're 2 up.
I think luck might playintoo our hands that Blackburn, Pompe, and Watford are all strugglin, so hopefull, we can navigate those games with players missing and try and get everyone back for Blunts and Stoke in November
