Sheffield Utd- Bristol City 2nd leg play offs (8 Viewers)

I think it's because of his all round game. He doesn't really have a weakness other than his height and he still wins his fair share of headers. If rudoni had the same engine/tenacity in the tackle I'd pick rudoni all day mind
Rudoni has a higher ceiling and will go on to play consistently in the PL.

Obviously, he’s a really good player…but it’s not like he’s bestriding the league like a colossus. I don’t miss his 22 yellow and obligatory 3 red cards a season.

Would I have him back? Yes.

Gus is a really good player and I loved him when he was here but his lifestyle will catch up with him sooner rather than later.

It's all over now, 2-0 to Sheffield Utd, Hamer goal.

It's Hamer's vision that we really miss. That ability to see someone in a bit of space and then splay a ball out to them. If you've got someone who can do that, it means you always have the ability to stretch a game, and that's exactly what we lack.
...that ability to play a shot off someone's left butt cheek? 😁

Brizzle, while a good club and yes they almost finished ahead of us but they were always the weakest team in the play offs.

We'll win tomorrow but the appeal of spending a few hundred quid to watch us likely lose to these cunts at wembley isn't all that.

It feels like we’d get battered by them.
They beat a poor team of 10 men in the first leg then beat a team who'd all but given up in the second leg.

Our best 11 would give them a proper game.

If we go through we are due a win at Wembley. Are these better than Luton?
If not we know what we need to do to make play offs again. Sure recruitment team are on it.

If we do get through tomorrow and end up losing in the final, it will be really interesting to see how Gus and Callum play it. They can’t not celebrate with their own fans but given it could be at our expense I suspect it’ll be a bit muted.

Even mccallum although less so.

Tin pot can't even sell out. Half a stand is completely empty.
I’ve never ever once been impressed with their support, Sheffield United

In the late 2000s/early 2010s they brought some absolutely shocking away following down to our place, even the season they were romping League 1 I think they brought just north of 1000, albeit it was a Friday night game but you’d still expect more

A decent sized club, a fantastic stadium but a very average fanbase in my opinion

Last time we made it all the way via the playoffs, we beat 2 teams in striped shirts. One black and white and the other red and white. Let's beat 2 red and white striped teams this time.

on the plus side, if it wasn't for Collins' mess up vs Luton, Preston would have been safe final game and this would probably have been us playing Sheff Utd....

Interesting point. It's hardly a cheap day out and a lot of tickets to sell in a short space of time.

Wonder what the point is that people start going off the idea of an annual trip to Wembley if we're not winning any of them.

The difference this time, IF we somehow manage to get to Wembley , I wouldn’t expect us to beat Sheffield Utd. I still think we should of beaten Luton 😂
