Ref is obviously weak, Sheff Utd are taking advantage of it. Time for our boys to return the aggression, or they're gonna bully a win.

Bit worrying that Sheff Utd seem to be stronger and are winning much of the second ball and loose ball too.

We need to show a bit more mettle.

Murphy is worryingly me too with the defensive side of his game.

Poor poor side Sheffield United, hell bent on committing fouls. Getting so pissed off watching them disrupt the game every two seconds. 'you're not fit to referee' being sung by their fans?! Hilarious. Really hope we smash these dirty fuckers in the second half. Ours for the taking!

Turner it seems. Very lucky there? All our own doing again though. Need to cut out these errors

no, not last man, nor certain goal opp. However, it does look like we're adjusting to how utd seem to want to play the game.

Well, not bad at HT considering your teams been practically assaulted all game.

Decent first half aside from our defensive errors which are a regular thing of late and we need to cut out.

Sheffield fans getting frustrated with the ref but is he really having that bad a game? Or am I watching with sky blue tinted glasses since they seem to feel he's giving everything to us? Not his fault if their players keep kicking the shit out of us?!?

Do worry that this looks to have a 1-0 written over it, but not sure who will get the 1 goal!!

Have sky given any possession stats yet?

Lol. Glaringly obvious isn't it? I'd be embarrassed if I was a fan going to watch that shite every week. Disgraceful.

Yep. Two defenders behind him, so never a red.

Hopefully, a TM hairdryer and a more physical approach, catch them committing men in midfield, then we should be able to force a goal. This is gonna be tight by the looks of it, and this fucking ref needs to pull his head out of his arse.

Really think we need to use that to our advantage in the second half. Run at the players on the bookings!!

Shane we haven't got the new defender on the bench, to allow us to take off Turner after around an hour due to his booking and no doubt they will try to adopt the same tactics

Anyone say whether he was actually last man and yellow was a generous card?

Have the police been called yet? I've never seen such a red card in all my life.

Only had one real chance and that's Armstrong one on one. Decent effort.

Need more second half but Deffo our half there

The ref is having a good game, apart from that one shocking tackle, which had to be a red all day long.

Unbelievable that Lameiras is getting booed, seemingly, merely for being the victim of constant fouling.

If anyone should be getting frustrated at the ref its us, Mcevely should be off and they could have easily have 2 or 3 more bookings

Lamieras debunking the myth a skillful foreigner can't live with the rough stuff on a cold and wet day in December. We need Murphy to man up now and start running at them like he means it.

Yes my thought la also (although didn't make that clear initially. Unbelievable how he saw it as a yellow card offence only!

Really want to see Ruben play off the boos in the second half. Atleast until Kent comes on to take over and probably get booed himself after mugging off their defence

Think I would like to see Cole on for Murphy if the game carries on in the same fashion.

Murphy's lack of defensive positional play is a bit worrying and he has just stopped tracking back on at least 2 occasions.

He hardly touched him SW. Never a red in a million years. Wouldn't have got there anyway. Yellow was harsh imo.

I agree. This ref has been piss-weak in my view. Very lenient with some of their fouls. Typical Sheff U team though, plenty of big blokes, rough up any team that looks like they might be able to play a bit.

The last thing you need in a game like this is a weak referee!

Daft thing is, it was a foul he didn't have to make.

Agreed. No danger whatsoever. Sammon is a poor player; Sunday league thug at best.

Murphy's been disappointing with the ball today......but he always comes good in the last 20.

Yeah they've always had a dirty bastard or two within their ranks. Chris Morgan was the worst.

Murphy alway improves second half so don't panic. Ruben doing well bur Kents pace in 15 mins to run at booked defenders could get one of them off. Worried they'll bulky us again, maybe even need tudgay up top to give some back. Save Cole for next week, a point here in thus woukd be solid and keep the run going.

If they get a few bookings and can't keep flying in for fear of being sent off it would make a big difference.

Well yep. We therefore need to give him the ball in better positions, cos half the time today he is just tracking back and doing so badly.

Yeah Kent running at McEvely is the one. Draw that clumsy oaf into another book able offence.

BBC news feed: "Ben Turner (Coventry City) is shown the yellow card for a bad foul." Foul yes, card yes; but 'bad foul'? I assume that it's a blade fan doing the reporting.

Sky have posted the tackle on their twitter, pretty much every reply is that it should have been a red.
