Can anybody justify that performance. that miss in the second half, far too casual.

Not sure that fleck or Callum Wilson are the answer but wilson scored a goal that involved pace a commodity so lacking in our squad

He's shite although ironically I think we missed his width on the left. Moussa was playing a lot on the left today and cut inside too much

We had 0 width today, both wide players cut in too much an the full backs weren't getting forward and overlapping enough

Yep agree with that - he did seem to playing more inside today. It was also his pass that put Cody through when he hit the post.

I thought he had a good game. His passing, movement and interplay in the first 30 mins was at the heart of everything good that we did.

What I can't stand is the utter twats who are so desperate to boo him, even when he's done nothing wrong; 5 or 6 times he was slaughtered for making no mistake whatsoever-he's expected to drop the shoulder and beat 5 players?!? I will lamp someone in B21 before the end of the season!

That was probably because fleck had more space with us going 442 instead of the midfield keep getting in each others way.

Had it been the other way round you would've been all over Sheff like a rash! Bottom line is, Fleck is a better player, better goals and assists ratio than his Coventarian counterpart.

On moving to 4-4-2, I thought Callum Wilson was sensational (I have written him off, I'm still pessimistic about him, but he was MOTM today for me) as was Fleck and them 2 changed the game. At 4-5-1, it was just Sheff, Jennings and Bailey (both were still poor at 4-4-2) who were poor and they all need to be dropped 'like it's hot', all 3!

He is the scapegoat

Like Fleck for you?

Sheff, Dickinson, Edj, Jennings, Bailey and Cody were all shite today and the only one who shouldn't be dropped is Edj because there's no replacement, unless Willis steps up (sounds familiar with Cameron!)

I have never made fleck a scapegoat - like you say there were lots of poor performances yet the only player that gets 2 threads about him is sheff,

I would also add baker to that list, who apart from his superb freekick was also poor

Not to mention the assist for Moussa vs Swindon in the game previous to that...

There was a game about 6 weeks ago where he set up our goal, leading to 4 of us all saying in very loud voices for the 7 Sheff-haters that sit in our section "that WAS a great ball by McSheffrey, WASN'T IT?".

In the second half, he mis-hit a shot, and one of them swung around and shouted "See, I told you he's shit, I was right, ha ha ha!" Possibly the most pathetic sight I've ever seen at a football match :jerkit:

Baker wasn't that bad, but he was close to getting on that list - believe me, as was Martin and Christie.

There were many bad performances, and I expect, but I know it won't happen, a overhaul of the midfield in particular, don't get me wrong, I thought McSheffrey was a stand out culprit of the poor performers, but I'm not short-sighted, I acknowledge others were poor as well.

It's things like this that make me dread going to home games. I'm in no way a fighter but I just want to kick the f*ck out of most of the people around me.

Chill the feck out, will you?

He's a player who is past it, he gets slagged off because of it, no need to want to "lamp" someone because of it, your persistent defence of him is pretty funny as well, actually. Just the way you go on, you'd think you was his BF, just saying bro. On bros, is it a 'bromance' instead?

Around me no one was slagging McSheffrey off and it was only Baker getting it, who played quite well, put in some decent crosses (there's Sheff's contribution and that's enough for many fans) and tried to make things happen, granted, it's difficult when Cody is striker.

I feel that he needs a break, hate any player getting the boos but Macca recently has taken a lot of stick as been so bad.
My view is put him on bench, he will be better as an impact player.
Lets not boo any player in a City shirt.
