Normally I would be happy with a draw but they are there for the taking

they are a solid team though, draw quite a bit and were second away from beating barnsley this weekend

still promotion candidates for me, i picked them swindon and wigan as our biggest rivals, even swindon might still get back into it!

id take a draw as we have oldham after at the ricoh which should be a win

Has to be a win for me.

We have a good record at their place and they are struggling for form. We need to keep in the top 2 for the New Year if we really want to be considered real automatic promotion contenders.

Any London based fan's going to the game? I fancy travelling up for this as it would be great to watch two top sides play (one being city) but with it being on sky i'm reluctant on the journey time and cost with it being close to christmas.

I'm trying to

With just over a week to go we've sold just 600 tickets. Given this is against one of the bigger clubs and one of our bigger allocations that's poor. I know its on Sunday at midday and its on Sky but I would have hoped we'd still take triple that.

I disagree, it's pretty good considering they've only just gone on general sale. Anything over 1k is good. I went there last season and think it was under 1k for a Saturday 3pm KO, might be wrong though.

Does anyone remember the 2-1 win where Leon Clarke got a brace? There was about 1500 City fans that night, was a Friday night iirc.

Superb night that. We stayed over in Sheffield afterwards which topped it off.

Current ticket sales are damn good IMO given the day, KO time, and the fact its on TV. We'll easily take over 1.2 - 1.5K. Great effort.

Che Adams has got himself sent off today against Oldham - good lad (every little helps!)

Agreed-very dangerous player that could have caused us problems.

Still slightly worried about this game-but I'd take a draw.

In went in off Ferguson's beard....

I don't think you need to worry about our away support.

Be happy with 1200 next Sunday. We would have taken 2k at least if it was a Sat 3pm kick-off.

If we draw 3 in a row again are we all going to start saying the sky is falling again?

Massive meltdown on the Shef Utd board about 13,000 fans not turning up yesterday. They won yesterday and it's all negative still.

Huge game this. A win would set us up fantastically for the Christmas games.

How does that work Nick? Do you have to pay for Sky Sports 2 for the whole day, or can you just buy that particular match?

The way I do it is through the now TV app on AppleTV. Think you can get the app on PS / XBox as well. Basically you go to watch Sky Sports and it gives you the option to pay £7.99 for 24 hours.

For all you punters out there Cov are 5/2 with Sky Bet to beat Sheffield United.

I think that is huge considering they are missing Che Adams and could be missing Jose Baxter.

According to their website you can use:

Watch on your NOW TV Box, Chromecast, PS4™, PS3™, Xbox One, Xbox®360, Roku, YouView, LG Smart TV, PC or Mac, Mobile*, Tablet and more.

More info here:

And its cheaper than I thought, 6.99 not 7.99. For the handful of times we're on its worth it IMO, better than messing around with dodgy streams.

Can you pay on the gate for this fixture?

May well be a spontaneous decision down the pub on Saturday night
