No idea about Markelo but Yang was considered too lightweight at Portsmouth so I doubt he's going to cut the mustard for us.

The Markelo one seems to be an opportunity that they could not pass up and wait for summer, once he was available.Agree, I like him as a player, but he’s clearly a year or two off being capable of the physicality. I maintain it’s not as strange as dropping £4.5m on a player who can’t get in the squad mind. Only Haji and Rudi cost more up front in the squad.
