Well Micky's back In town .......but not quite .

Always had a lot of time for the guy,and he's working his way back up ,yet seems reluctant to sign an extension with his current club ,Owner issues or better prospects beckoning ?
Anyhow as the man who took us through the HR-RICOH transition as a Player and manager It would have been nice to have given him a warm welcome .
But alas.

I think a lot of fans wouldn't have - a lot turned against him. I thought he was ok and a lot better than the next 4 that succeeded him.

Yep and he has gone on record saying moving to the Ricoh under council ownership was a complete disaster for the club.

Well you quoted him - I was informing you that like mark Robbins he puts the blame at the councils door. They both worked at the club so I guess we both have to now to their superior knowledge - agreed.

A strange, but quintessentially myopic choice of representing his stance there Grendel. What about his quote, when speaking of the City fans cheated of seeing their team in Coventry:

And he doesn't think much to the place, speaking to Port Vale's official website, Adams said: “I have been on record in saying that Coventry City shouldn’t be playing at Northampton. The fans have made their feelings known by staying away. It will be a bit of a strange atmosphere and it will be strange playing Coventry there.
