A CEO has ultimate responsibility for any company and as such its Joy Seppalla who is the person solely accountable for the Miss Management of CCFC, and indeed the proud accolade of putting this great club back to where it was 49 years ago. So far Seppalla has been fortunate to have the SISU Funds to hide behind, however this is about to change as she ponders on what she does next, given as it seems sources suggest she has now taken direct control of the destiny of Coventry City Football Club. Seppalla holds the very existence of CCFC solely in her hands, and as she considers her next steps, (a) invest further (not desirable given the City Councils position underpinned by most supporters) (b) cut her losses and walk for a token gesture (most desirable assuming further investment is secured) (c) pursues other less desirable routes such as administration or even liquidation, Seppalla needs to show leadership, sadly a quality that seems lacking in her skill set. The rent issue is resolvable as ACL is managed by business minded individuals with the future of Cov at its heart, stabilising CCFC may however be too challenging for Seppalla, as her record so far would demonstrate.
