Fun as it is to reminisce, I'm sure we can all move on now.

Only willing to give Robins a rolling contract though - hardly long term commitment to him is it, unlike now.

The only offer I recall was the £2m for Higgs share - did they ever make a formal offer at all?

£2,8m which was more than Higgs got out of WASPS deal

Isn't it as easy as Doug probably invited them out of respect as they were here all the way? Nothing to suggest there is any bad blood between them.

You clearly have little experience in M and A. Performance and similar clauses are not uncommon. They can cover claw backs as well as add ons

What offers did they actually make? Certainly none in the admin process.

Dk as part of his discussions with SISU agreed to put in an offer
However he was effectively blocked by a strategic confidentiality agreement between WASPS and Frasers

Within football it’s not that common though is it? No one actually knows what was agreed and where the portfolios now resides

Sisu rejected such an offer before of course

No, but then it's not very standard that new owners are pally with old owners. King hasn't hid that they knew each other in interviews.

I cannot see any other scenario other than SISU still having a stake in the club or actually effectively owning it still. Doug King has a close relation working for SISU and didn't have the funds imo to personally buy the club and wipe out the debt. Personally think we are being "played" to think that it is a clean change. There cannot be any other reason for them being at Wembley other than it is "their club" who had promotion at stake. For those suggesting that 'they would have received an invite and were just being polite' you wouldn't go to an ex's 30th birthday party because you still had an invite (well a few of you may....).

To say that there can't be any other reason for them being at Wembley is plain nuts. That's not to say, of course, that SISU aren't still involved in the club in some shape or form.

People can't differentiate between personal and business. I have attended events and dinners along side people I cannot stand but for business reasons I acknowledge

I have to deal with an entitled bitch who made my life hell while my mum was dying of cancer..I treat her fairly for business reasons but inside hold more hate for her than I ever imagined was capable...all because she couldn't work from home 1 day...at the same time I was having to rush home to take over feeding my mum days before she passed...when I retire and if she's still there the little c**t best hide

Sad story and I understand your feelings. But your hurt and anger will affect you more than her. If you can, just remember your Mum as you knew her

Also, has anybody not thought it’s possible that they were both guests of Boddy and not Doug? They are the reason Boddy come to the football club in the first place he probably feels indebted to them

Also Robins has only ever been positive about Joy since he arrived
He said this week that most managers would have been sacked during the bad run we had at the start of the season even though we hadn't been able to play at home
SISU made some terrible mistakes but in retrospect other clubs have had immeasurably worse owners
TBH the two scumbags from the council deserve more opprobrium in my eyes

Try to put it aside Z
You're a better person than her and I'm sure if you're ever in a position where a colleague has a similar family issue you will be generous
Some people are just scumbags

I sort of get what you say. However, the owners took us on a horrible journey, recruited some poor managers and took us to the depths. The rise Back up the leagues made amends. I can’t forget what happened.

They were reported to have been looking at Robins before Thorn got the job - there would have been outrage it he hadn’t got the job though - goes to show the perils of fan ownership.
