Derby and Sheff Weds games already sold out.

it’s going to be carnage for non-STHs trying to get Portsmouth and Wrexham tickets.

I really hope they use the points system to make it fair otherwise what’s the, um, point?

Aren’t point systems aimed at away fans?

I’d be surprised if they didn’t bring in the points system or have an open to purchases this season before purchase history.

It's taken weeks for them to sell out. I'm in the same boat as you but think it will be easy to get tickets if you're quick.

Introduced because demand significantly exceeded supply.

We’re only now reaching a similar scenario for home games.

Surely straight forward to implement and fair in the same way that the away points system is fair.

I doubt it will be seen as necessary.

Next season I’d assume that there will a membership subscription for non season ticket holders to be considered for purchasing of to any tickets

Remove the rest of the segregation covers in the Main stand next to the away fans and the ones either side of the dug out which really bug me. Get it done Doug

They cappped season tickets at 24,000 this season, I think? From memory, we sold just over 23,500.

I can’t imagine there will be a lot of folks who don’t renew…unless Bling puts the prices up prohibitively. If there’s a similar cap then, what, just 4,000 tickets for general sale?

£60 for the games against the big 6?

I think the cap is a bit misleading. It's just a marketing thing. When sales have slowed pretty much to a halt we get a made up cap to encourage a few more sales.

If we go up next season may be different as we've seen PL clubs actively discourage season tickets as they can make more selling to day trippers. Not sure how much King would want to risk that being true for us.

Fair enough. But surely all of us ST holders will have chance to renew again?

Because we guarantee season ticket holders the right to buy a cup ticket, we have to cap the numbers to ensure enough space to hand over the whole south stand to away fans

Yes I’ve mentioned this in another thread. The membership subscription is a good money spinner for clubs with people paying an annual fee just to be in with a chance of getting a ticket.

Glad I got mine this morning for Sheff Wed game. Couldn't get 2 together though.

Yeah, me and my daughter have been to 6 home games this season, next one we'd be able to make would be Wrexham. We'd be gutted to miss out, but it is what it is. Might have to jump in there as soon as they're released. I reckon the hospitality tickets will go quick too.

Managed to get a Derby ticket, but didn't even see the Sheffield Wednesday game on the site, went back on today and it's completely sold out... Sheesh, we're massive...but gutted I won't be able to go to that one!

I think it’s because the players sit behind the bench there, so they have them to keep a distance from the fans.

If they removed the segregation banners and the ones by the dugout we'd be getting over 32k, surely the club must be looking at this
Don't think the segregation banners would make any difference because there's actual barriers as well so additional seats would be in the away end.

Not sure why we have the banners by the dugout. Pretty sure there's been a time when they weren't there at all. There's stairs between those seats and the dugouts so it can't be because they're too close to that. Maybe because there's no ad boards at the bottom of the steps so you could be straight on the pitch?
