This is true, their order book is now even more empty than it was before. Never has the Jag Hall been so underused.

Why should I? What if I don't agree with much of it? Let me give you an example:

'We call on the council to explain to fans and city taxpayers what strategy it now has, if any, for returning the Sky Blues to the Ricoh Arena as soon as possible'

How can they? They have clear advice in the public domain that they've been instructed not to comment on all things pertaining to the Arena until this facial Judicial Review is over. How can they therefore 'explain'? Why don't these folk campaign to pressurise SISU to drop their pantomime of a JR so that there can be a proper debate?

Otherwise, it's like like challenging Stevie Wonder to a game of darts....

Let's face it, the reality is it's just a petition and 'demo' to pressure the Council to sell the Ricoh to Sisu on the cheap.
It's obvious, unless you are very naive.

No thanks. Sisu are the problem.

Look, it's another angle of attack for us fans to get behind. It really isn't about SISU this or ACL that. SISU have had pressure applied and it has resorted in them putting some answers out into the public domain. Whether you believe them is irrelevant at this stage. CCC/ACL haven't had any pressure applied and haven't put much out about their plans and thoughts. It really is time for them to do so. And when they do we'll have both sides answers and ideas to put together.

This campaign should be given as much support as possible. To not support it, is tantramount to supporting CCC over your club, IMO.

As above. How can they?

The way some of you lot go on makes me wonder if you actually enjoy this mess, it gives you something to whinge and moan about. Wtf is wrong with applying a bit of pressure to the other side. As for "sell to a hedge fund, no signature from me". You obviously
enjoy us playing in Northampton Mick, maybe you're a secret scab.

Nonsense. If the the legal constraints imposed by the ongoing JR are as tight as you say they are, we'd wouldn't have heard anything from SISU either.

There is much the council could say without jeopardizing the outcome of the JR, and to say otherwise is just ludicrous. The only thing we've heard from them recently was that response to the equally farcical legal action against NTFC.

So once the JR is kicked out for a second time, do you expect the Council to -

'explain to fans and city taxpayers what strategy it now has, if any, for returning the Sky Blues to the Ricoh Arena as soon as possible'

To be honest, work is slow lately, and the forum (along with others) gives me something to do. Sometimes I result in "trolling" just to add to the pointless crap people spout on here.

Agreed. The JR is about something that has already occurred, I am really not sure about how comment could affect its outcome - although I am no lawyer and who knows what the Council's lawyers have instructed.

If there is absolutely no case to answer the Council can say what it likes, it was protecting one of its assets.

No. CCC have clearly stated that it is their policy, until the JR is complete not to comment for fear of being found in contempt. It's not nonsense. It's out there and a matter for public record.

SISU may take a different view on the sanctity of the legal process, and therefore wish to comment accordingly. That's their choice. Let's be frank, they've been criticised before in court; haven't they?

The JR is a farce. Roundly and almost laughably thrown out last time, and the appeal is simply stifling true and clear debate

I was outside Cov Station on Wednesday, quite ironically there was a 'Vacuum Convention' at the Ricoh, I saw a shuttle bus for it outside.

I can't remember seeing such a statement, can you point us in the direction of it?

Remembering that the leader of the council embarrassingly offered to meet JS 'woman to woman' to discuss the situation? Does that not count as comment for fear of being found in contempt?

No. Because SISU will appeal again.

Do you expect SISU to explain why they are spending so much time on appealing the JR rather than finding us a site for a new stadium, or getting us back to Coventry?

Why would I need access to their order book? They have an events diary available for all to see. What an odd thing to say.

not sure how they operate but it could well be the case that they only list on their events diary (assuming you mean one that is generally available for us to see) that are open to the public. private or trade invite only events may not be listed.

Give me a few moments on the former. I dug it out a week or so for others on here. If anyone still has the link and can provide it; much appreciated. Until then, anyone who did click it, (and I think Rob was one) could at least verify what was stated.

As for the latter; yes, I agree - very embarrassing indeed. I don't know if her plan was to take a bottle of Lambrini and some Gloria Gaynor CDs; but it turned my face a shade of red. My guess would be that any such meeting would be on a 'without prejudice' basis, behind closed doors and therefore wouldn't impact the JR one iota. Whereas flapping your lips in public could

It amounts to the same thing. Yes, I was being mischievous, but you have said yourself that CCFC returning to Coventry is of secondary concern to you. I think being in Northampton is hugely damaging to CCFC, but evidently you have more important things to worry about, like getting one over those nasty little hedge-funders.

I didn't say it was "of secondary concern", that's your spin. How do you know that the return of CCFC to The Ricoh with SISU as owners is to the clubs benefit? We could end up saddled with the same rent deal as we had under the evil ACL!
