They are quite annoying in that local councillors expect local constituents to communicate with them

What ever happend to the raising of extra income , by having the old sky blue pools & others i can't remember ..a bit like a local lottery game , where we paid by direct debit ...i was in one once ..did it just fade out or is there something still out there..

Before moving down south mid eighties I worked selling the sky blue pool canvassing for new customers and built rounds for collectors in Nuneaton as a lot of people paid cash and it 2as an early lottery like system and benifits of it to me were commission and free admission into games it was really popular and George Curtis was always in the pools office in thackall St.

We can’t be far off that surely after all that’s gone on back in the champ etc bringing in better players will also help a little bit of early form the ground will be full

I think this is an excellent suggestion but not sure whether it falls foul of gaming legislation? I would be happy to make a £10 monthly payment so long as it benefited the club.

They do the 50/50 on match day but it’s poorly implemented. Don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone selling tickets. They clearly don’t sell many as the prize is lower than at Blaze games!

We've never had anywhere near that many season tickets sold, if we got over 10k it would be brilliant.

There is never going to be a clamour for season tickets whilst it is still easy to get a matchday ticket (ie there are plenty available).

I guess the question would be whether I pay my £10 principally to help the club or to win a prize. My reason would be the former; a legitimate way of helping the club. Just think, £10 x say 6,000 regular committed entrants = £60,000 a month = £720,000 p.a., less admin costs and prizes, would surely help the club's operating costs. Prizes might not necessarily have to be for money but something that is low cost for the club to provide but of value to the winner e.g. guest of honour at a club event; free season ticket; match ticket, dinner with Joy...!

Fanzone in the exhibition hall needs to happen. I’m sure there is a projector screen in there so they could play the early kick off. Club need to look at growing its supplementary revenues and if that means dragging custom from the casino then so be it. Also means that dad with his kid can have a pint and watch the football beforehand, which the casino can’t cater for.

Pop-up club shop in the exhibition hall at the same time if we don’t have an official club shop.

Like the idea of the flags/banners on lampposts etc. and I’m sure it’d be possible for someone to switch them between CCFC and Wasps depending on next match.

Definitely need to make more of the potential customer base at the two unis. Could a shuttle bus/park and ride situation be set up from the two sites? May ease the pressure of traffic immediately round the Ricoh.

What would be an ideal opener at the Ricoh would be Blues or the Albion, club shop open, some thought going into the concourses and outside the ground. Some licensed food vans, fan owned apparel stands like FMC and the t shirt guy, a welcome home theme, banner day and a relevant playlist booming out. Get it right once and they will come back, mess it up and poor first impression will be hard to erase.think Accrington...

As I suggested in another thread, I wasn't particularly excited about the prospect of the Ricoh return (obviously huge caveat I am delighted we are back in Coventry, etc etc just the stadium itself doesn't do a lot for me), but I don't know if I have watched that video too many times, or the lack of live football over the last 12 months, but I have developed a child like excitement for that first game back... and the 22 that follow

Will be gutted if we can't get our original Ricoh seats back. I know we'll be at the front of the queue as season ticket holders last year. Just hope they save our old seats! Please!!!!

Just stick them up, I don’t think the ribboners bothered getting permission to put sky blue ribbons all the way down the A444 even had them on a couple of the flagpoles

Wasn't there buses run from all over the city when the stadium opened as part of the green travel plan for something ridiculous like 75% of people not using cars.

Why did they all get abandoned? Have a feeling it was a requirement of the original planning permission for it to be in place on event days.

I think uptake was fairly low, perhaps coupled with the falling crowds. But there is certainly opportunity to put that back in place from places like Warwick Uni.

Needa better integration. Have pre/after parties with pubs in town. Get some signage up and a few tickets behind the bar and maybe half price drink after with your used ticket or whatever. Then ferry people up.

It’s always the same: try something half arsed. Put no effort in. Cancel cos it’s “failing”.

Anyone know how the kids STs work? My 5 year old would no way want to go every match. Would be good if I could buy one to share between him and his sister.

I wondered if there may be questions when a girl turns up with a boys ticket.

Just scream at them about respecting your child's gender identity and you'll be fine.

First time in about 8 years I’m getting a season ticket. Am I right in thinking the entire stadium will be open ?

That's how we feel. Because of mobility (or lack of) problems these days, we would want our old seats again. They were near the end of the row, and only two steps down to flat ground, would suit us perfectly. Had no end of problems at SA with it, had to change seats a couple of times because couldn't get up and down the stairs.

Hopefully as we had STs previously at the Ricoh, plus did the memberships at SA it would give us some sort of priority (being totally selfish, of course).

Don't think people need to panic. The ground holds 30K, getting a ticket is not going to be a problem! Even if the ground operates at 25% capacity should be more than enough to cover season ticket holders from before the move to St Andrews.
