While I am in agreement with the proposals in the main. But I know families who went to all the day and some night time fixtures and got all their stamps from the family zone but could not attend mid week night games (of which we had loads due to changed fixtures). Fine, resell the tickets but to ban youngsters for not attending midweek games (if there is 10) it could look bad.

Yes that’s what annoys me, no problem being asked to list a ticket I’m not using but to then have mine and the lads season tickets revoked because of it…

Midweek games are hard for young kids to make with school the next day.

Then I believe there will be more Sunday kick offs as part of the new tv deal; Championship will fill the gaps in schedule from premier league. Fine in principle as it’s a weekend but has anyone thought about local Sunday league football?

How many kids play in teams and now may have to choose if it’s play or watch city?

What we saying then - FZ tickets staying at current price levels or is Doug going to whack them up?

Don’t dispute there are a lot of adults going in at cheaper prices without kids but the tone of the communication leaves a nasty taste.

For all the talk about back the club I’m still unsure if Doug has actually put any of his own money in.

He hasnt. Thats why this summer is the acid test for me

Love how people are acting like you're being banned from ever entering the ground if you can't attend every game

If you can't attend more than half the games then let someone who can turn up week in week out buy a season ticket for the family zone and just buy tickets on a match by match basis who you want to go.

For most of my life a season ticket was never an option as it was financially unviable due to work commitments. Mid week games were a bonus for me. A lot of seasons I attended more away games than home games.

It's good to encourage kids to attend. But it is ridiculous to offer a season ticket so cheap that it makes economic sense to buy one even if you know you will miss half the games. What is wrong with purchasing tickets on a game to game basis knowing you can attend?

There is a £6 million loan from a company King owns - he would have had to inject some money to keep the club going in the first few months prior to the sales of the players as we were losing money heavily

I’m pretty sure it was reported that he acquired the club due to a debt from SISU.

He never brought the club. Dont know how many times i have to say it. He was owed millions by SISU. He had the ability to put them under with what he was owed from previous deals with them.

They didnt have a pot to piss in, we sold Hyam to pay the tax bill, not the pitch, Overson paid for the pitch (I've seen the proof) we were weeks away from going under.

The club was given to Doug as his only way of getting his cash back. Thats why everything is short term. 5 year stadium deal, 5 year premier league package, he isnt here for the long haul. He has done Ryton up off the back off the Vik and Gus money, because Ryton is our only tangible asset for a sale, brought players off the back of Vik and Gus. He openly admitted he didnt know where the CBS was and had never been to a football match before. He was literally unheard of until the club release the tweet saying he owns 80%.

None of the above is to slight him (although pissed off after yesterday's announcement) because he has done well so far, there is no denying we are in a much better place.

But to seriously assume he has had to put his hand in his own pocket, and not be living off Vik and Gus, and also the play off final and fa cup semi run, is disingenuous to me

The accounts show a £6 million investment in the form of a loan which is - and may be recovered - but it exists

I am surprised King was owed money himself. The loans essentially were from the Arvo and Sisu Master Funds.

King himself is co-owner of a hedge fund -RCMA Capital along with Coleman’s brother. This is essentially a commodity speculator - mainly in the oil industry.

Where does the external debt show in the accounts?

Tbf though, people change. He might legit like owning a football club... if you've got a shit ton of money it's probably quite fun. I'd imagine he'll try and turn a quick profit if we get promoted soon but also believe its possible for him to get attached to the club he owns.

If you ever get the chance ask someone that works at the club or knows the players the question

Did he hint at this change to the family zone Pete or has he just gone off half cocked like last year?

The simple solution would be fz prices. £350 adults £100 kids. Would quickly be resolved.

Yeah, I heard that as well. If that’s the case though it was still his money that he’s put into sisu/the club via sisu and was owed it back. People are almost suggesting he got it for free which obviously wouldn’t be the case

Yeah or maybe even a bit more but that’s then unfair on people with kids who are using the family zone tickets correctly. I doubt the club wants to (or will) retract any season tickets of genuine kids that can’t make games, they just want to make it as difficult as possible for those that are abusing the family zone tickets

Well I doubt you will

I can’t see how king was a major creditor to Otium. The Arvo Master Fund was the major supplier of funds and had been for well over a decade. Much of the debt was accumulated interest. The actual debt I think was around £12 million plus deferred interest.

The Sisu Master Fund also supplied some short term bridge funding in the last few years

The purchased share capital of debt in SBSL is irrelevant. I think they had a 51% stake in Otium but it was essentially a shell company purely for ownership control

It seems inconceivable to me that King had any ownership of Arvo and certainly any ability or influence to call a debt in. He didn’t.

The club had run out of money and it’s a reasonable assumption that the fund was no longer prepared to loan - so I’m sure King actually paid very little there is zero evidence he was owed money.

They surely will?

It would be a disgrace if the matchday prices in that section of the ground are the same as the rest of the ground. It should remain an affordable area for families.

The article says it averages a third of seats unused in the family zone and there will be a way to resell those. I had assumed, perhaps wrongly, they would be resold in line with the reduced pricing in the FZ, not the full ticket price in the rest of the ground

Will be interesting to see how much they are re-sold for to JSN non season ticket holders.

I imagine walk up tickets prices will be set at a price which makes a season ticket look tempting , they then penalise you for not going . What a wonderful roundabout to be on

If they're going to resell tickets, they also need to allow adult to buy in that section without a child. We have 3 season tickets for me, dad & daughter. My wife makes about half the games so buys on the day often somewhere else then moves to by us so another wasted seat as you can only buy an adult and child online, it's ridiculous and I'm not wasting a journey midweek to pay over the counter. Crazy situation.
